Becuase God loves us. He gives people a choice. Just imagine if you went your whole, day by day and every thing you did, you did becuase you had too not becuase you wanted. God wouldn't be a loving God if he didn't give us freedom. He wants us to love Him by choice not by force.

The same reason good things happen to bad people.

Good and bad are just judgments we make on events in our lives to try to give order and purpose to life.

What may seem like a "good" event, may, over time, prove to be a very "bad" thing in the long run and "bad" events, may prove to be very beneficial with time.

People we think are "good" may be doing something we don't know about to create some event in their lives and people we think are "bad" may be doing a lot of things right.

I don't think we always know for sure what is good and bad as our emotions and need for immediate gratification block our long term vision for the future.

Once a friend of mine said, "Do you always know what is 'right'? And of course, I don't always know what is right...life is often a dilemma. Then he asked, "Do you know what is kind? And I almost always know what is kind so I could say "Yes." My friend said, "Then do what you know."

I think we should live our life as best we can, doing what we believe to be good and not worry about whether we will be rewarded or punished. No matter how hard we try, there will always be a lot of hard times in life.

In order to answer that question, you must know what bad things really are. In my experience, we judge too soon. I think that really bad things are just as rare as really good people. 99% of the things that happen and 99% of the people we meet in our life belong to either of these categories. And maybe the 1% you mention are just here to remind us, that it is possible that very bad things happen to good people. And finally: You could also have asked why good things happen to bad people and the answer would be the same.

trials and tribulations is all part of our lives, its not just the so called good people though it is everyone. It happens to each of us and it is something we really don't understand other than having trials and tribulation, it is how we handle things when the bad things do happen.. There is a book that has been around for awhile its call "When bad things happen to good people" Harold S. Kusher, I personally haven't read it but it may help you understand a little better if that is possible. But bad things do happen and it happens to everyone...

For the same reason that bad things happen to bad people.

There is no one reason that individual things happen to people. Each thing has different circumstances behind its cause.

It seems like we hear about the bad things that happen to good people more for many reasons. One is there are probably more good people than bad. Another is that bad or sensational things are more newsworthy items that are broadcast more frequently that good things.

Why shouldn't it? It's amazing enough that we evolved to be what we are today. Given the competition for survival from not only fellow humans, but also other flora and fauna, and the harshness of the environment, itself, we're lucky to have it as easy as we do. Though, luck really isn't the word, because it discounts all the changes and adaptation we, as a species, have made along the way, often on the dead bodies of ancestors.

Obviously the bad people do it to them so that the good people suffer... who knows... I doubt there is truly a good person who has never done a wrong... so you just take what life throws at you and live through it... things happen whether you are bad or good... that's just life... whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger!

None of us are " good." In fact, our righteousness is as filthy rags before the Lord. I've been through alot of fire in my life. But I can't imagine not having Jesus to lean on. He is our anchor that keeps us from being swallowed alive by life. Bad things can truly make you or break you. It rains on the just and the unjust. Christians are blessed to have a divine umbrella that the wind can't blow away and it will always work.

That is a very good question and at some time asked by all. I believe that we are tested all our lives and it is how we deal with these bad times that shapes our character. If we become bitter and let evil rule we give in to the devil. If we stand strong in our faith and make the best of the difficult times we go with God. The choice is up to each of us which path to choose.

Because good people see all things only in positive perspective and any negative experience is also accommodated undeniably because of their fundamental positive nature while for a negative basis things appear bad because of restrictive identifiability.
