(sorry this is so long, this is one of my passion! So bear with me).

Violet, is actually the earth visionaries.

My understanding is that usually when children come in different vibrations, their challenges are common amonst that age group. For Violet, it was being born a visionary in a heavily religious time. Think, the sixties flower children and those born during the 60's. SUPPRESSING our natural spirituality. It wouldn't surprise me if this is where Atheism took on added power. That and all sorts of different forms of Spiritual practices that we are experiencing today. As Violet is a forerunner of change. Imagine our parents handling our children? The gap in between, was Violet.

Indigo children, although they state a lot of things about them being born with higher physic ability, are seriously facing self-discipline challenges. ADHD, ADD, so on and so forth. I was mislead in the beginning by the Indigo description. Rather romanticizing the energy of this generation. Now, I work with them transporting special-ed. They make life hard on themselves and others. They can't even get to who they are with their issues with authority. Something has to change, and I don't know what. But catering to their gifts without helping them achieve self-control is really spoiling them rotten (which was pointed out in that article that one of your answerers gave you). I agree with that point, even though I hesitate to say that these color idea's are all a hoax. I think we can attract color to us and our energy field can change with what attracts us. Also, I feel that the birth of generations of energy make it available for all to adopt. Everyone of us brought and transition or change, and we will continue to do so. Our evolution is important.

Crystal Children, we are seeing alot of autism. Again, left to their own devices they are just in their own little world and it's completely heartbreaking. They don't tend to be spoiled brats, just completely isolated and defensive about how they percieve things. My personal experience with my son is that he tends to be blunt, and caustic with people. They say that he can't understand how this affects others, I think it's more than he gets to the bottom of things and unlike the rest of us who have social lying at our disposal. He hasn't mastered that art. They just say the unvarnished truth. Well, the average adult dealing with someone who is slightly odd but not hugely so, interprets this most often as power struggles and disobedience.

Whereas Indigo does want supremeousy. Crystal, wants to not interact at all, unless forced too, and they don't like it when you make them.

Violet is the forerunner. The parents and teachers and support system of both. Believe me, watching it all go down first hand, I've learned to call special-ed

Specialized Ed.

Romanticizing the energy of any of the emotional Colors on the spectrum is basically ignoring the challenges, which has created many issues for all of us.

and that's downplaying it.

I've heard of Indigo and Crystal, but not Violet. But, since Violet comes after Indigo in the "rainbow", maybe what I've heard called Crystal = Violet.??

What I know, which isn't much, is that Indigos represent the beginning of a major Consciousness change (born ~1970s-1990s), and the Crystals are even further along (born in the 21st century, usually)...

However, unless we hurry up and get some DNA analysis that indicates a change in genetic structure, you can't claim they are any different than anyone else. EVERYONE has the capacity to Spiritually Evolve or Progress...

And I sure wish we'd start running down that path at super-speed!!! Keep searching, focus on our Unity as Humans, as Members of Earth, as Members of the Universe...this is what will help us reach a new level of Reality.

Peace.

Indigo children was a scam to make money. Violet or Crystal adults are the same exact thing.

Sorry. It'd be nice if it were true, but it's a scam. :(

Here's some data:

BTW: The effect upon children of being told they are "indigo" is only now being studied for its detriment to them. It's very very sad. I say that as someone who scores across the board as "indigo/violet/crystal" on every test of them yet developed. I'd love to be special for it, and I'm NOT.

The terms, "Indigo" and "Crystal" were given to two generations of children, because they most accurately describe their aura colors and energy patterns. Indigo Children have a lot of indigo blue in their auras. This is the color of the "third eye chakra," which is an energy center inside the head located between the two eyebrows. This chakra regulates clairvoyance, or the ability to see energy, visions, and spirits.

Many of the Indigo Children are clairvoyant The Crystal Children have opalescent auras, with beautiful multi-colors in pastel hues. This generation also shows a fascination for crystals and rocks

Indigo Children is just a bunch of hooey to make new-age parents feel less guilty about raising their children as snotty little punks, and to make themselves feel special.

Violet was a character in Peanuts.

A minor character, but she was there.
