Go away.

Your question assumes all kinds of things (gender of the hooker and
the atheist, for example). It tries to make a comparison based simply
on putting together an extremely random event.

So ... lets make some arbitrary assumptions, shall we? Lets say that
I'm into girls and this hooker is a stunningly gorgeous girl that I would
love to have sex with. Is that the stereotype you have in mind?

And, lets assume that the atheist is an old guy with bad hair and rants
alot ... well, the thing is, it is very difficult to be an atheist in the US these
days because it is so rare and discriminated against. So, he has really
thought why he is what he is ... and the hooker is what she is 'cause she's
beautiful and its easy money.

Who has a better chance of coming up with a scheme to get off the island?

The guy who is known for the way he thinks, or the girl who is known for
her physique?

With a well provisioned desert island, I guess maybe I'd want to stay
there a long time ... but after the sex is done, its nice to have an
intelligent conversation. I doubt that our stereotype hooker will be
capable of that. (Note this is a stereotype. Hookers come with all
different levels of intelligence and eloquence. They're just not known
for it). So for long periods of time ... probably the atheist.

If the island is a hell hole, then I'll take the person who can think me
off it. I'll take the atheist.

an especially sturdy question. indexed under are a number of my own motives: A concept in God is often paired with a concept in some form of life after dying, and in my suggestions this devalues the life we stay. To me, the theory that this life is all we've and that as quickly as we die we are long gone continually makes life seem each and all the extra particular. I additionally can not understand the assumption of an all useful and all loving God. i'm nicely conscious of extremely some arguments which justify the suffering interior the international, yet none of them have controlled to cajole me that extremely plenty suffering, on the form of huge scale and so futile, must be allowed via a God who exchange into all loving. If there's a God, then i don't think of it could probable be all loving. Or no remember if that's, It can not be all useful. If a God exists and facilitates the international to bypass on the way it does, then it incredibly is not a God I even have any interest in worshipping. i could be extra susceptible to have faith interior the classic Greek or Roman Gods, the Gods who have been egocentric and immoral and intensely human, yet i don't. I relish the secret of life. i don't want to answer each and all the super Questions with God, or with technology, or with something in any respect. I relish not understanding why we are here, the place the international got here from etc. i like to think of of life, the universe and each thing as one huge, ludicrous, impossible accident, and that makes me happy. I merchandise quite to the assumption of residing a competent life so as which you will please God and make it into Heaven. I plenty choose the assumption of goodness for the sake of goodness, understanding that there will be no advantages ever yet that that would not remember through fact it incredibly is the act of goodness in itself that concerns. I comprehend the reality that my interpretations of the considered God and my ideals are actually not shared via all, yet i'm hoping I even have helped you to appreciate one individual's motives for atheism.

Let them decide.

EDIT: Whom would I want to have dinner with?

The atheist, just for a thoughtful discussion. The hooker could tell me stories, but I'm a psychtherapist, and I listen to stories all day long. I would prefer to spend time with someone who will help me expand my thinking on things that interest me.
