I dye my hair black and after 2 weeks the color always starts to dull. Is there anything I could use to make it look darker and shinier?

The hair color product might not be the product for you. If you use a good color save shampoo and conditioner, your color should last at least a month. Tea Tree styling gel adds shine. Many styling products can dull the look of your hair: gels, glues, fiber products etc.

After dying my hair for 3 years and the same exact thing happening to me I finally found a product that works at holding in the color. Use TreSemme Color Thrive Shampoo & Conditioner for Brunnettes. The bottles are like 20 ounces and only cost about 3.50 each. And then after you wash your hair spray their leave treatment(comes in both spray and creme) it's a color lock-in treatment. And so far I've had to only get 2 colorings a year and I'm a brunette now that is dyed over a bleach blonde, so that is a huge difference I now I've been able to hold my color too.

I do color every 7 weeks...the best I've used is Pantene for dry-damaged hair.....I also use the masque type conditioner once a week to deep condition. Then I use 'silk therapy' after I towel dry my hair...let air dry...straighten...then spray with aerosol silk therapy 'shine spray'. "BIOSILK" I think you can now purchase these without a license, at CVS.

Pantene also has a new line of shampoos for colored hair! Go check it out...I use the shampoo/conditioner for almond color...but they carry products for light and dark shades as well.

My mom's a beautician, so I have access to all the high-end brands, and have always come back to pantene for it's moisturizing qualities, for my dry hair.
Hope this helps! Good luck!

Aria is stable! you additionally can %. up a sulfate unfastened shampoo, i think of L'oreal makes one, this could help shield colour. Plus you are able to upload some dye to the shampoo and conditioner to make it colour tinted. you should use Manic Panic as oftentimes as you like because of the fact this is vegan and has no harsh chemical factors in it. additionally the dye has a shelf existence of around 2 years so as quickly as this is opened this is nevertheless stable for a on the same time as, you would recognize this is going undesirable as quickly because it starts off to lose this is colour.
