Unfortunately I cannot attend due to circumstances but the first nine Friday`s like the first five Saturday`s are beautiful devotions that sadly are neglected by many Catholics these day`s.

Now I'm sad!! It didn't even dawn on me that today was June 1st AND Friday, and Masses were earlier this morning. I've made every 1st Friday (and Sat.) Mass for almost a year. BUT, that's OK, I guess...

I do try to attend Mass at least one extra day each week. For a few rough months I went daily, and it helped me get out of a deep hole. Now I go less, as I don't feel it's good to miss work daily...but if I ever get low again, or need daily help, I will go back to daily Mass. It's nice to enjoy Mass outside of Sundays; on Sundays the church is filled, sometimes it's hard to really be IN the Mass. But on weekdays with fewer folks, much easier to be united with Jesus, IMO.

Peace be with you.

I don't often get the chance to do First Fridays because of where I work, and the lack of a nearby parish. I do get to go to an ordination tomorrow though. That's where I hope to find grace this week....
