"Jehovah" is the personal name of Almighty God, the Sovereign of the Universe, the Creator. "Jehovah" translates the Hebrew Tetragrammaton into English, and is to be used with reverence and respect.
It is a terrible insult and blasphemy against God to misuse the personal name of the Almighty as a reference to any human. An adherent among Jehovah's Witnesses is most certainly not "a Jehovah" but rather is "a Witness". The Witnesses are not certainly NOT "the Jehovahs".
(Deuteronomy 6:4) Jehovah our God is one Jehovah
Sadly, such disrespect for the Heavenly Father and hatred for His people should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:
(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.
(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.
(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

You absolutely need to close the door in their faces whilst they are speaking, I know it's rude, but they are trained to not stop speaking so that polite people will not shut the door on them. Jehovah's are so rude, in this day and age your home is your only sanctuary and they have no right to invade that, if we wanted to know about the Jehovah way I'm sure we'd find them and ask. I once stood at the door with bombarded by a Jehovah while my baby had woken and was eventually screaming to be picked up. What sort of person would continue to manipulate your attention while your baby screams? SLAM THE DOOR!

Dear Seeker,
If I have time I will talk to them.
Last December when a lovely couple came to my door they wanted to give me a book but I wasn't interested in yet another JW book. They insisted so I said I would read their material if they would read my material.
We struck a deal on that.
They gave me What the Bible Really Says because they assured me it would prove that Jesus Christ was the angel Michael. (It didn't even come close by the way.)
I gave them a copy of a chart that I found at http://www.soulright.com
It is called One Truth Exposes a Thousand Lies - Traits Shared Betwen Jehovah and Jesus
I also gave them a pamphlet by Roy Zuck. I think it was called An Open Letter to Jehovah's Witnesses. (I've run out of them and have to get more to have ready.)
It is funny that usually only one of a pair comes back again and he always come with an elder.
How do you respond?
For His glory,
JOYfilled

Before I put a sign on my door, they knocked and I asked who it was. They answered telling me it was Jehovah Witness. I didn't answer the door, I told them that I have my own religion, and I wasn't interested. They mumbled something and left a flyer on my door.
The next day, I put a sign on my door saying no solicitating and don't leave things at my door, because they will get tossed without being read.
Disrespectful? Yes, I believe that I was. But, they keep coming back after I keep telling them I am not interested. Are they disrespectful? Yes, that's why I put a sign on my door.

"answer the door naked" Lmao, that's a good one.
I haven't had the opportunity to politely turn Jehovah's witnesses away, since there is a "No Soliciting" sign on my door. I was approached by a couple when I walked to the store. It was my first time, but I just smiled, thanked them and went about my way.

I have a couple of Mormons chained to the porch, Jehovah's Witlesses wont even enter the yard.
Beware of people who come to your door with tazers.
It is better to taze first and ask them questions later.
By the way, what day is the world ending this week?

Jehovah Witnesses are very sincere people. They are sincerely wrong in most of their doctrines, but I'm always gracious to them because that's how Christians are supposed to be. I like their AWAKE magazine, but care nothing for the WATCHTOWER. JW's are no worse than TV preachers that millions let into their home and wallet. At least JW's never ask for money.

I see a lot of imagination coming from child like minds in the answers ahead of my own.
It's a shame more people don't realize the good they can find in having a spiritual relationship with brothers and sisters who take the time to perform a HOLY act according to God/ Jehovah.
But foolishness abounds and even Jesus encountered the same attitude as he taught his people what and how to do it.
We perform exactly what he did in discussing God's coming Kingdom.
Remember Jesus was the very first, Jehovah's Witness.

I enjoy talking with Jehovah Witnesses. I let them say what they have to say. Then I ask them some questions I have about their beliefs. Generally they are very kind as responding. When I ask them if the Watchtower ever claimed to be a prophet, thats were it gets interesting.
When I show them from their own literature that they claimed to be a true prophet and their false claims, they generally excuse themselves.

Jehovah is not sending us to you.
He is seeking out the ones who are thirsting for the truth of His word.
He is calling those who are sighing and crying over the wickedness and lawlessness of this system of things.
since all of you here are satisfied that your clergy is not misleading you then we won't worry about you.
You have your paradise.
The ones in our territories that are tossed about and ragged from a corrupt clergy are in need of saving.
When I was a catholic the priest told me if I couldn't go to church he had some envelopes to send my money in so he could pray for me. LOL
The baptists and most others have politics in the churches.
Jesus was no part of the world.
So we're glad you have signs up..we won't waste God's time by stopping to see if you want God's help.
And if you really think being half dressed would stop us you're wrong. We could preach to nudists. Everyone will have to hear it before the end comes.
Remember one last thing...when you are rude to God's people you are being rude in front of the angels. They report back to God who has the Book Of Life...your name can be written in...or blotted out.
YOUR CHOICE
