There are bark collars available fo around $40. I have used them in the past and it worked. You need to follow the directions provided, as they direct you on how to use the collar as a teaching tool. Followed, you can eventually get rid of the collar.

This might sound really strange, but you can't teach him not to bark unless untill you teach him to bark on command. The reason for this is that he needs to know what barking and the difference between right and wrong. I have helped many people with this and have a great success rate. Email me to learn how.

You need to walk up to her and stand over her until she stops barking. After she has stopped barking don't show her any favor for at least a 1/2 hour. By doing this you are telling her you are not pleased with her behavior. And by standing over her any time she barks you are telling her you are king of this hill and no barking is permitted.

You can also get a squirt bottle and squirt her if she doesn't listen to you. Some dogs actually like to be squirted, if your dog is one of them, add a little vinegar, then she won't like it. Say "No" and if she doens't stop, give her a little squirt. Eventually, she will stop when she sees you pick up the bottle, you won't even have to squirt her. This worked for our dog for not only barking, but also jumping up.

Dogs find patting them as reward. when your dog is barking and you say shhhh. and pat it to calm it down it attributes the patting to good for barking and the shhhh. may have been linked to the patting so you may have unknowingly trained your dog to bark to shhhh.
