It seems there aren't many honest guys left. I am currently not in a relationship but it seems a few of my friends who are dating keep getting stepped on by men. What happened to honesty in a relationship? If a guy becomes disinterested in a girl why doesn't he just tell her instead of sneaking around lying and then she finds out anyway.

I believe that a woman make the man. Thus, every behaviour of a man is a making of a woman.

What man lie about is not usually important:Sometimes, man will slip and say something that isn’t totally true because it is not very important to us. If the thing man are lying about is of little consequence, then what’s the big deal?

We man believe to not say anything at all ..a lot of men see that lying by omission is a less offensive way of avoiding the truth.

We will lie now and hope that things will change later. Lying is often a short-term solution to avoiding confrontation.

Some man lie because the truth isn't good enough. This usually in the case to hold the attention/affection of the woman in a competitive dating world.

I just hope this give you some perspectives from the man point of view of our presumed dishonesty.

Everyone lies at some point during the day about something. White lies are lies just the same. I try to be as honest as possible at sometimes brutal. I will admit there are some people that lie on a regular basis and more than others. Do I think there are "any honest guys left?" no, but there are people that will be honest if they have feelings which I never had a problem with.

Girls are so predictable. They all go after the same type of guy until they finally see the light and realize that they need a good guy, and by the time they realize it most of the good ones are taken. But they are still out there, you just have to look a little harder to find them. They usually aren't the ones hanging out at the bar...
If you want a good relationship, maybe you should be a little more picky when you are choosing a guy.

Plenty of honest guys around. Sounds like your friends are just choosing the wrong ones. The woman has to take some responsibility for the man she is with. Try to get a feel for his character before going out with him.

Hell yeah!!! I am honest and it works out AWESOME!! I have nooo time to be dishonest at all!! Way too much work. And also being straightforward goes along with this. If I am not feelin something, I just tell her, and I expect vice versa!! It's not a big deal at all, just tell me so we can both just move on!!! Good luck!!!

Let us not tar only the guys; I know of quite a few women who play the same game. I prefer to call it a human type failing or whatever.

Because rather then tell you up front and get into a big ordeal we'd rather go behind your back and have fun to make you leave us. Just to clarify, I have never done this to any of the girls I've dated but have seen plenty of guys do it.

if you have sex with your bf than the chances of your bf looking for other girls are 80%. because men always finds other girls prettier than his gf. honesty might break a relation and guys don't want the girls to leave them. they love to be the one to break up first. how can a guy tell his gf that she doen't look beautiful anymore.

Playing the field still.
Most guys are involved with someone by their mid 20's and still want more.
