I'm afraid if you were married in civil the minister has no say. The conditions for cancelling vary by country, and in the US by state.
Voidable Marriages:
An annulment is a court order that declares the marriage void. That means that the marriage is considered to have never existed. The marriage is not automatically void but requires a District Court declaring it so.
http://www.ncga.state.nc.us/EnactedLegislation/Statutes/HTML/BySection/Chapter_50/GS_50-4.html 3-4-2005
A person that has had a marriage declared void by annulment can indicate that they have never been married. In most states there are only certain narrow circumstances in which a marriage can be declared void. For example, in North Carolina, the length of time married is not a determining factor to request an annulment. One of the criteria must be proven in District Court to have a marriage declared void.

This is something for a lawyer to handle. I believe you can have a marriage annulled (in some states) but you'd best talk with a lawyer.

Officiants are obligated to file all signed marriage licenses. I'd call the clerks office who issued it right away and see what the states statutes are.

You are legally married, until you file for an annulment or divorce.

Go to the minister and ask for an annullment. You have to go with your husband/wife and both ask for it though. Tell them you didnt have sex.

yup, but if you're thinking that's gonna be a mistake, then why are you getting married, don't waste your time (do you want to get married just to check what it feels?)
