When Good Men Do Nothing

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke)
So much of the history of the struggle between good and evil can be explained by Edmund Burke's observation. Time and again those who profess to be good seem to clearly outnumber those who are evil, yet those who are evil seem to prevail far too often. Seldom is it the numbers that determine the outcome, but whether those who claim to be good men are willing to stand up and fight for what they know to be right. There are numerous examples of this sad and awful scenario being played out over and over again in the scriptures.

The time for that has come. In fact it has been here since 9-11.
We are in a war people and it doens't matter if you like it or not, you have no power to change anything, so just accept it and learn to stand up and fight for your country instead of rolling over and complaining about it.

.... and do what? Die? And don't you mean " has the time come for all the working class good men and women to come to the aide of our country"? You don't see any rich guys fighting do you or dieing. Maybe the time has come for all the wealthy sons and daughters, including a couple Bush girls.. to pick up their uniforms and get over to Iraq and fight and die. It is their country too.. why are they allowed to be safe?

Unfortunately politicians tend to come to the country's aide instead.

both the Illegal invaders, and our own Government.
