Yes. Possibly one of the few denominations of Christianity that could pass for 'tolerate'. Barley pass mind you but that's better than most of them. Accepting would be nice but I'm not going to hold my breath.

I actually grew up in and joined the UCC when I was younger. My experience is that they are about as tolerant a Christian church as you will find. In my experience the minister would finish most prayers saying something to the effect of "and if you believe in this then this is the word of Christ" almost giving everyone their own choice in what is working for them. If they weren't totally based on Christ and the Bible they would almost feel like a Universalist or Unitarian church.
I stopped attending when I went to college and consider my spirituality to be very personal to me. I would recommend the UCC to anyone who wants the church and community experience along with teachings on Christ and the Bible, but does not want to be told what they have to think and recieve a lot of dogmatic teachings. Of course I'm sure depending on the local congregation your experience could differ.

Yes.
Very liberal.
Roughly associated with the Disciples of Christ church. The UCC web site says, "In 1989 the United Church of Christ and the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) approved a historic partnership of full communion. The two churches proclaimed mutual recognition of their sacraments and ordained ministry."
Visit the UCC web site to learn more about them.
Visit the Bible to learn more about the church that Jesus built. (Matthew 16:18, Acts 17:11)

Yes I knew a woman who went to church at United Church of Christ. I went with her to church once. They seemed very nice but I did not learn about their beliefs in depth.

I have. I think that they are a good denomination that seek to reach out to the community. They don't turn anyone away, which is a great thing, considering Jesus didn't.
