Imaginary actually. But the Old Testament God certainly had an evil side. Most would see destroying the world because you were upset as true evil.

God is good. He gave you live, existence, free will, and a healthy body, how could you think otherwise? He gives you a free way into heaven even though He knew most people wouldn't take it and it would be extremely painful for Him. He loves everyone. How can you not think that God is good????

Since all our definitions of "good" and "evil" are based on our cultural traditions which are rooted in the value-system of the Judeo-Christian religions, God is by definition "good".

HE is a
Holy God
Jos 24:19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is a holy God;
Psa 99:9 Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.
1Co 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

I think God is neutral and good. He stays at a neutral 'distance', and when things happen He waits for us to come to Him. He is good, and wouldn't allow harm to hurt us, if we come to Him. His intentions for us is to love us when we go to Him and ask for his guidance.

God is good. He cares about everyone. He may send troubles for us but His glory will at some point shine through. He knows everything before it's going to happen and allows bad things to happen to draw us closer to Him when we realize we can't do it ourselves.
