To the first part of your question (evidence to the UN) - I'd present the results of some of the studies I've been involved in, some of which have already been presented to the UN.
As to measures to 'save the planet'. I'd implement several schemes to run concurrently...
1) Increasing phytoplankton and algea in the seas and oceans (these sequester CO2).
2) The construction of 'artificial trees'. These use sodium hydroxide to sequester CO2 from the atmosphere, you only need one such 'tree' for every 18,000 inhabitants of the planet and the byproduct can be used, ironically, in the oil industry.
3) Implementing a program of 'cloud-seeding' - the artificial production of marine stratocumuli clouds over the oceans, these clouds have the property of reflecting sunlight back into space.
4) Continue developing alternative and better technologies, power sources etc.

We can't stop global warming but we can slow the anthropogenic contributions. There is plenty of evidence that the climate has always been variable. The difficulty we face is that never in the history of the earth has there been such a high permanently settled human population. The human population has been much more able to cope with historical climate fluctuations because they didn't have the development, financial investment and society that we in developed nations have now- they just moved. Can you imagine trying to 'just move' a city- hundreds of thousands or millions of people at a time? Who will buy them out of their homes and who will finance a new home for them? People living in low lying areas are at risk- the question is what level of risk? How many years will it be before sea levels rise 1 meter and what will the impact be?
Whether you believe in climate change and or peak oil is irrelevant. By adopting a precautionary approach and modifying wasteful behaviour, we can improve our quality of life, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and look after the environment and economy. If you do something and it doesn't matter, it doesn't matter. If you do nothing and it matters, it matters!
So why not foster the development of 'green alternatives'- it's good for the environment, the economy, and maybe your quality of life and hip pocket.
We can sequestor vast amounts of carbon by modifying agricultural practises to build soil carbon reserves and soil microorganisms. 'Holistic Management' by Allan Savory explains how it's done- it makes sense from an economic, environmental and social point of view.
There's nothing to lose by being environmentally friendly.

You can't stop global warming. There is no reason to ''save'' Earth. Everything is fine. There is a warming going on. Over time it will be followed by a cooling, which in turn will be followed by yet another warming and so on. There is nothing to panic about. The world as we know it will not end. We are not all going to perish as a result of this warming trend. Just about everything we understand to date has a pattern. This wave pattern occurs often in nature, including ocean waves, sound waves, and light waves. All of these can be graphed or illustrated with a sine wave, and as a result can then be monitored and analyzed. In the case of global temperature we just don't have enough accurate data yet to ''plot'' a pattern which would help us predict coming changes. Don't forget, the only accurate recorded data we have dates back only about 100 years, everything else is just theories and guesswork.

Many new investors are lured to the appeal of a penny stock due to the low price and potential for rapid growth which may be as high as several hundred percent in a few days.
Check here http://penny-stock.gelaf.info
Similarly, severe loss can occur and many penny stocks lose all of their value in the long term. Accordingly, the SEC warns that penny stocks are high risk investments and new investors should be aware of the risks involved but you can even make very big money. These risks include limited liquidity, lack of financial reporting, and fraud. A penny stock is a common stock that trades for less than $5 a share. While penny stocks generally are quoted over-the-counter, such as on the OTC Bulletin Board or in the Pink Sheets, they may also trade on securities exchanges, including foreign securities exchanges. In addition, penny stocks include the securities of certain private companies with no active trading market. Although a penny stock is said to be "thinly traded," share volumes traded daily can be in the hundreds of millions for a sub-penny stock. Legitimate information on penny stock companies can be difficult to find and a stock can be easily manipulated.

Since we here in the U.S. are the main HUMAN contributors to global warming (yes, I'm aware that things other than humans cause global warming, i.e., volcanoes), I would like to see a crack-down on us, especially. It would be so encouraging to see recycling centers popping up left and right; speed limits lowered to conserve gas (I'm currently testing that theory --- so far, I've got nearly 50 extra miles on my current tank, and I still have a 1/4 tank left! This is being done by simply driving about 5 miles slower than normal [10 at night, when I'm inconveniencing fewer drivers], and doing more coasting before braking); carpooling encouraged; more widespread use of ethanol; development and usage of alternative fuel sources; deforestation projects hindered; marketing of more American-made hybrid/alternative fuel cars; energy conservation programs; and stronger legislation against companies that belch pollution.
Even if this doesn't stop global warming, at least we're working smarter in the long run -- better to find ways to protect and conserve our natural resources now, while they're still around, than to sit there scratching our heads and wondering what we're going to do when we've depleted them.

Each un country to instigate a population control measure
of say, 4 person per family max. Every 10 years this could
be revised, i suggest downwards.
This, together with
increasing use of renewable energy, could be a start to a
golden future for the world.

Wow, have you young people been indoctrinated or what? "Factories belching pollution"? Where in America do you see factories belching pollution? Where do you even see factories anymore? Yet America is the worst contributer?
The air in America is prestine compared to other industrialized countries. Blame America first! Destroy America!
A few skeptics? 99% of the world's scientists agree? This is a bold faced lie. In reality some of the early supporters are now coming out and changing their position. There isn't even a simple majority of scientists who are willing to take a position.
People are ready to start messing with sea plankton, artificial trees and cloud seeding? You are all so ready to really start messing with the environment without a clue as to the real damage you may cause. Why? Because you are convinced that we must "do something". Let me tell you. When you are messing with the environment you don't want to just do "something". We could be setting ourselves up for real disasters.
Wiping out humans? Limiting the number of children? Do you people know what you sound like? Socialists! What is wrong with you? What has happened to America that people are so easily fooled into surrendering themselves to the socialist agenda? Who among you will be the one to decide who lives and who dies, comrades?
There is no threat to human life. This is simply a normal fluxuation. There were much warmer and colder temperatures long before mankind ever stepped foot on the earth. We are not causing it. We cannot stop it. We will simply adapt to it. There will be no disasters.
You should all be ashamed of yourselves. The socialists must be laughing themselves silly at all the useful idiots they have created.

Blow up the idea of Ethenol
stop al deforestation
Ban all moter transport and go back to horses and buggys
global warming cannot be stopped but we can stop helping it becoming faster, and being friendlier to out Environment cannot be bad
-----------------------------.
Reduce carbon emisions, and they are already working on that by alternative forms of energy and regulations on carbon producing materials, aerosol cans, burning rubbish, industrial chimneys, powerplants etc.
The capture of carbon and the production of water and assist the aquiferous manta.
The world bank pays large subsidies for reforrestation to capture carbon and the best tree for this is the Pawlonia
Waterharvesting projects ,such as millions of small dams.to redirect over ground waterflows from the rains into the ground to supply subteranian water supplies.
The protection of existing forrests.
Stop building more highways, urban planning to include vegetation stop building cities encourage people to return to the land to conduct their business from there which now has become possible thanks to the internet.
Education to motivate people to auto sufficiency by building more home food gardens.
Education on environmental awareness
education on family planning to curb over´population
Agricultural education and improvements to follow the principals or sustainability and soil management.
More environmental or land ,design to prevent bush fires, such as--fire breaks
More dams.regulations and control for public behaviour
Alternative effeciant public transport to discourage the use of the internal conbustion engine
Recicling wastes,limit water use
Here are a 100 more ways

I would tell the UN to move out of New York City, as they are some of the worst polluters of all.
Global Warming is a lie, and the UN wants to have an International Tax, and a "Carbon Tax", to them, looks like the perfect way to do it.
This planet has been heating and cooling for centurys. This is NOTHING NEW. In the 70's we were going to have another ice age. The polar ice caps were to cover Chicago by the year 2000. In the late 1800's-Early 1900's it was warmer then usual.
This natural heating and cooling, working with our oceans, is what keeps this planet LIVABLE...

I think that being "green" should give average consumers a tax break or other incentive, rather than be more expensive. I remember years ago there were some ideas about eco-friendly products, but they were so much more expensive than regular ones that it was a luxury to be "green".
What's more is that I think government officials should not be allowed to have luxury gas guzzlers - they should be driving hybrids to lead by example. The reason why so many people do so little about the environment is because it means reallocating funds that could be lining their own pockets.
We can ALL do something here and there to at least try to make a difference, whether it's not leaving your water running when you're not using it, not leaving electronics on stand-by or just taking reusable totes to go grocery shopping instead of wasting more plastic bags.
