tell me this, why is it that some women stay with a man that treats her like crap when there are other men out there that are so much better..

Because they are nuts!
Seriously...some people come from dysfunctional families and think that is the way it should be. Some people don't have the means to get away from this person. Some people actually think they are in love and can change this person.
Some actually enjoy the abuse.
Too many answers to that one...you would think everyone would want the one who would treat them good...but life and people just don't seem to be that way.

Men who treat women like crap have a knack of making them feel that its their fault. The women are always making excuses for the way they behave because they think it will get better. They blame themselves but its not right. men who end up treating women this way are always the rebellious type we seem to like but we never plan for what we get! women often stay because they are scared or blame themselves but its not their fault! Sorry bit of a rant there!

Many people believe that if they love someone enough that they can change that person. It doesn't happen.
Another reason this happens is that sometimes guys start out being real nice and sweet and then they change. The girl stays because she keeps hoping that he'll revert back to the nice guy he was when they met. They believe this because the guy will occasionally throw them a bone (be nice for another moment) and then they take the bone back (be nasty again.)

I wish i had the answer for you on that one!! i am one of those ladies (i think). Sometimes its because we dont want to see the truth (if they are cheating, or treating us like crap), sometimes it's because we are use to them being around and dont want to lose that, sometimes we are scared of being alone, and a lot of the time - our confidence is so low because of the way they treat us, that we figure no one else would want to be with us.

It depends on the situation. Some girls might stay because they have low self-esteem. In some situations the issues run a little deeper, and you may not understand the full extent of the issue going on in a girl's relationship with her partner. Some girls can also make it appear as though their partner is horrible for pitty and attention. It all varies really.

I suggest that, like sexyfemale07 once said, "IT'S ALL ABOUT THE TAURUS".
... AND THEIR ARIES COUSINS.
First, the Taurus girls act like pigs. They can take a lot of punishment and not do anything about it. That's because they are so well in their skin, it's like if they lived on a cloud. It's also because they don't like to see people suffer. So the taurus girls take it and swallow until it reaaally hurts them (and that can be a looooong way down the road).
The Aries girls, on the other hand, act like dogs. In love, they want a man that is like a father AND a tutor for them (hence a punisher, for punishment is one important part of the Aries instincts and expectations). They're masochist and sorts of unhappy workers by nature.

Being a woman myself, I have never understood this either as my hubby treats me like gold. I could never be with someone who treated me like crap. But then I guess you can not help who you fall for!!

some women are holding on to the past
some women are just blinded by their own feelings
some women thinks he still cares
and some women are just blind because they don't see the nice guys that are out there.
