I have a recipe which use Pita bread to wrap tuna and the dressing. Although this recipe is meant for dieter but the taste is good enough. Just try to change the pita bread with the sandwich bread.
Green Tuna Pita Bread
Ingredients:
1/2 can of tuna in water. Drain it well.
Two tablespoons of chopped celeries
Three slices of tomatoes
One pita bread (6 inches).
3 slices of cucumber
One teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
Two tablespoon of fat free Italian dressing
One green lettuce leaf (chop it well)
A pinch of chopped bell peppers
Salt, pepper and ketchup according to your preferences
Instructions:
Blend the tuna, bell peppers, dressing, apple vinegar and celeries in a bowl. Refrigerate overnight and keep the cucumber, lettuce and tomatoes separated from the tuna mix. When serving just wrap the tuna mix in pita bread securely while inserting the lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes as well. You can add salt, pepper and ketchup to enhance the taste. This makes one serving.

A splash of "liquid smoke," just enough some mayo to keep it all bound together, some cooked peas and a little minced celery and onions. Serve on toasted bread with lettuce and tomato. Mayo and/or Dijon's mustard to taste. It's a local favorite here in the Florida Panhandle. Of course, we use fresh yellow fin tuna, but I've done it with canned tuna. It's still wonderful.

Add a little chopped onion, celery, chopped sweet pickle or a tsp. of pickle relish. Add enough Miracle Whip to hold together. Serve or your favorite bread. Toast the bread if you like.
