It depends on your age from what i can tell...younger people tend to want to go for looks both woman and men, physical attraction is big and what first turns us on when we see a possible 'girlfriend or boyfriend'. In your mid years i think guyz and gurls tend to lean in two directions not sure where to fall...physical attraction or mental attraction? Then in older years woman tend to go for mental attraction while men are still leaning either way most leaning towards mental but several still looking for the hottie in their life.

It depends on the person. You get completely shallow men and women, but if I was going to pick one over the other I'd say that men can be more shallow for a lot longer then women are. Personally, I think it is understanable as we are all bombarded with these images of perfect women in the media and men are much more suscpetible to buying into that perfect body image as teenagers and young men into their early twenties. I find that after this they usually discover that it's actually nicer to go out with a girl who has personality rather than a twig who spends hours doing her make-up and is so skinny sex feels like banging an upended tool box. What do you think?

I don't think there's anything "bad" about it per se. Humans are visual creatures, it's how Nature made us. Therefore, it's natural for both men and women to want to know more about someone or something they find visually appealing.

Men are more visual creatures than women, but there's nothing wrong with that. Looks may catch someone's attention, but typically it takes much more than that to keep it.

Both women and men go for looks to a certain extent. It's biologically imprinted in our basic instincts to look for a mate who has good genes

We are just as bad. Only, for us "looks" doesn't mean men have to look like Brad Pitt. We can find the looks of an "ordinary" person just as appealing.

But it seems to me, men are more prone to go for Angelina Jolie.

So, comparatively, men are worse in that department.

Men go for looks, women companionship and money I am sad to say. If we are promised security, it doesn't bother how old or fat he is. As a matter of fact, we start to see all the good things about him!!

No. If a girl is beautiful enough guys don't care if she is a horrible witch or learning disabled or a blind def mute. A shy very good looking guy is getting very little action. Good looks for a guy only help if he has the personality to match.

Men care way too much about looks, because with men the only thing they know is how to ****. Basically, mosts guys couldn't care less about who a girl is, if she has nice boobs he can get a crush on her.

Women are often worse. I've noticed that it's generally quite dependent on intelligence with men, but with women they seem to settle with one template regardless of temperament, intellect, or their own looks.
