Try starting out your day with Bible readings. Not too long.
Also, pray that the Holy Spirit be released in your life. Music can also help. I recommend songs by Misty Edwards, Jason Upton, Kathryn Scott, David Ruis. David Crowder, Shane and Shane and others like them.

Contrary to popular belief this usage is not lazy or indecent nor is it as recent as many of you seem to think. At least as far back as the time of the American Revolution pls or plz was used in place of please in correspondence , again after the introduction of the telegraph, and most recently with the advent of text messaging, and all for the same reason, cost. During the early days of our country both paper and ink were expensive, so there were accepted methods of abbreviation to cram as much information into a letter as possible pls (or plz) was one example of this. When sending telegrams you were charged by the word (as in typing every 5 characters not actual words) so once again pls was used (among many other shortcuts u for you and so on) to make the sending of a message as cost effective as possible. As for text messaging, when first introduced, you may recall, we were charged per message we sent, so cutting letters out of messages meant a single text could be sent instead of two. It became a habit that carried over onto the internet, even though the need for the abbreviation no long exists,,,,to be fair though I am fairly sure you type OK or okay instead of Orl Korrekt which is the widely accepted original phrase the abbreviation came from, so can you really cast stones?

I think to seek first the Kingdom of God simply means to love God, obey His word, and put Him first in your life. Make time to read His Word, pray, and be willing to yield your will to His. He is the only true source of happiness. With God things are always done the opposite of the way the world would do them. Dont focus on what you want, but what God wants..in everything you do: dating, job, friends, habits, etc..just normal everyday life. I think it means instead of focusing on our needs, we should focus on the needs of others and by doing so, God will supply our needs! Sort of like having the heart of a missionary. They are willing to give up modern conveniences and arent trying to have the best home or car in the neighborhood..instead they are willing to give up modern conveniences to tell others about Jesus that otherwise might never have the chance to hear about Him. I believe their reward will be much greater in heaven than anything they could have ever had here on earth.

To seek the Kingdom of God means to believe in God, believe that he sent his son into the world to die for you, to read the Bible, and to follow the word of God. I know what you mean about not wanting to pray or really pay attention to God. I do find that reading the Bible helps me though. When you're really feeling down, God will be there, and he'll give you strength. Pray to God, start over, read your Bible, and the rest will come.
Psalm 118:5
"In my anguish I cried out to the Lord, and he answered by setting me free."

Hang onto this verse, it's a good one to remember.
The thing is, is to know always that God is in control. What is there to worry about? Certainly you can trust Him, right?
If you PUT HIM AND HIS DIRECTIONS FIRST, then everything else falls into place. Eventually. It's not always an immediate thing.
If you get into the mood where you don't want to pray, believe it or not, the best thing to do is to begin praying by saying that you don't feel like it and tell Him why. Somehow once you start, you can't stop. It's great.

Jesus said you have to "deny yourself, pick up you cross and follow Him" If you don't put God first, then nothing else will fall into place. The order is God, others, then yourself last. Go to God with your problems, and He can help you. Seek to do His will, not yours. (THY will be done!) Ask Him what His will is, and how you can live your life for Him. Unless you are broken, you will not get answers. If you are not "walking with the Lord" then, He will not listen to your prayers. They will be hindered. Do you ever Praise God? Or do you just pray for things for yourself? He is worthy of our praise. I find that when I sing a song to Him in my heart, or just praise Him with words, my day goes so much better. He wants your praise, and deserves it. He created you, He died for you, He offers you eternal life with Him. Praise the Lord, O my soul! Do you remember a time when you were On fire for the Lord? Go back to that time, and relive it. Remember your 1st love (Jesus)!!! God bless!

satan never wants you to pray. Do it anyway and watch what happens. Report back and let me know. Do it now. Cast all your cares on God and don't take them back. You have to let him handle it or else you just don't trust him enough to take care of you. Seeking fist the kingdom of God means to seek God first before anything and everything else will come into your life that you need. Please let me know the outcome.

Seek first righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17). When we do this all our cares and worries will flee from us and we are in a better shape to get things done by the power of the Holy Spirit..

Turn all of your problems over to God and he will take care of them, his way.
Philippians4:7 And God's peace, which is far beyond human understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with Christ Jesus.
Put a picture of Christ on your nightstand and when you wake up He will be the first thing you see which will remind you to talk to Him.
Type in your browser: pictures of Jesus. Then copy the one you want. You don't have to frame it.
God bless you in your desire to seek Him.
