I say no, because there is no evidence to support that he does. It is argued so much because people believe that everyone else is deluded and that isn't good. I just think the world would be a better place if religion didn't exist. There would be a lot less fighting, and people would do good things because they are good, not for god. And here is a paradox. God is supposed to be all powerful, right? If he is, he should be able to make a rock so heavy he could never lift it. If he can't, he isn't all powerful. If he can, he isn't all powerful because he can't lift it. Basically, I think people should live for themselves instead of living for a nonsensical fairy tale.

People continue to argue this point because noone knows.
No one actually know wether or not there is a god. The christian believe their is. The need that hope that there is something beyond death. And the Atheists believe their isn't one for whatever reason.
And because it can't be proven one way or the other people just continue to waste their time argueing about it.

Yes God does exist. It is a matter of faith. It is easy to casually dismiss anything as pointless in the impetuousness of youth. There will come a time when all will be known and you may find your immortal soul in peril for such convictions. The latter days are populated with many who will be deceived. However, as a subject of endless grace your doubt is certainly not the unforgivable sin and there is hope for all -- even to the hour of our death. Rationalize away -- and have a good trip.

God does exist. I think the reason that people argue about this question is that they like to argue. Many times people will approach a discussion like this with very strong opinions or they want to argue. They don't come to learn or to listen. Most of the time this is the sort of question that each person can only answer for themself.
God does exist. I'm not going to argue about my answer with anyone. My answer is not only not pointless to me it is the source of beauty and love in my world. May you find your own answer.

Pointless? If you consider it so pointless then why do you ask a pointless question? Sounds to me like you have some anger or abandonment issues. Try putting some faith and trust in God for once, then maybe you will see things differently. I'll be praying to God for you whether you want me to or not.

yes, God exists. we were made to live for Him and that is why people argue for His existence, so that people may know that. therefore, the topic is not pointless.

Yes God exists. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I don't argue about it. I know it. He exists. He is omnipresent. I will meet Him in Heaven one day.
