I'm turning17 in 10 days. I'm only 5'1 and weight 140lbs. I want to lose 20 pounds but i don't know how. What should i be eating. How should i be eating . Help plz.

Just go for a run around the block or you could get a gym membership and get a personal trainer. You can try eating more fruits and vegetables to boost your energy and eat lower fat and sugar foods. If you try this for like a month then you probably would be able to lose 20 pounds. Good luck :)

1. Eat 5 times a day. If you pass many hours without eating, your body saves energy and stops burning fat. So, between meals, always have either a fruit, a juice, a yoghurt or a small cereal bar.
2. Stop eating fast food, fried food, pizza, fatty cheese, any kind of fatty foods and any kind of sweets or cakes. Also avoid white bread.
3. Don't stop eating brown carbs, like wholegrain bread, rice or pasta, but eat that in small quantities.
4. Drink milk, yoghurt and low fat cheese.
5. Eat many veg and salad, without dressing, just a spoonful of olive oil. This is essential, you can't skip veg and salad, because this helps fat get away from your body.
6. Eat a lot of skinless chicken, fish, turkey, etc., cooked in a way that doesn't contain much fat. Mushrooms and eggs are also good.
7. Last but not least - perhaps this is the one thing you must do, at this age - exercise every day. Jogging for 20 minutes and then doing 40 minutes of pilates or callanetics is OK. Or dancing (latin), or playing tennis or some other sport.
