Probably get haters from all sides on this one but. I am married to a Christian, not religious, lady. We sometimes watch TV shows, and to her credit, she can now see the total shams out there, but,Joel, actually,I like him. Have you ever watched? He really speaks mostly about how to live today, not all the fire and brimstone crap, but about "what can you do today to make the world nicer?"I really don't have a problem with his message,as to me,he has the ability to pick the good parts and focus on them, rather than all fire and brimstone. That is a compromise I can make. I don't have a problem with inserting"my conscience" when he speaks of the "holy spirit" moving you to do a kind deed. Generally speaking,he has a great message about LIVING,doesn't dwell on the "afterlfe" much at all. Anybody watched him?Anybody like him? Have I succeeded in pissing both sides off?I'm trying to compromise here. Aaand, let the "thumbs down" begin...

Searcher. What he DOES do is speak about what we can do for our fellow man. Jesus even spoke that when you help the poor and visiting the sick, you were doing that FOR Jesus. Is there no compromise?Everybody go to hell or nothing?

Warhorse: I like him because he preaches love, not hate. And he actually spends the entire sermon on that. Are we so crass as to only accept that which preaches how wretched we are, what is wrong with promoting good behavior?
