I have an 1994/5 Nissan Primera now on to the second garage in an attempt to sort out why it will not start. Now looking like the fault is "IN THE CAR" (electonic control unit) and not the fob that is supposed to disarm the immobliser. Has any one every fitted a new one. can they be got second hand?

The large car called the Maxima in the United States. I change lots more starter motors than anything else. Check for power getting to the solonid wire one wire gray plug at the starter under the air intake system. when the key is turned to crank try tapping on the starter with a 12" socket extension and hammer. Solonid gets stuck at times If it starts locate a new starter soon.
