haha am also a 19 yr old Irish girl...just wanted to say...everyone everywhere has an accent....and also, nice typical stereotyping going on there with the guy who responded with the Catholic assumption. To the asker, in my experience Irish guys think the grass is greener, but foreign guys like Irish girls. Odd.

WELL THER IS NO PROBLEM WITH IRISH GIRLS. BUT EVERYONE IS NOT THE SAME ESPECIALLY THE AMERICANS. YOU SHOULD ASK THAT GUY WHAT IS GOOD IN AMERICAN'S AND WHAT IS BAD IN IRISH. THEN I AM SURE HE DONT HAVE ANY ANSWER.
EVERYONE IN THIS WORLD KNOWS HOW AMERICANS ARE. NEXT TIME TELL HIM THAT YOU WOULD NEITHER GO OUT WITH ANY AMERICAN.

Maybe because you are Catholic. Assuming you are not Northern Irish Protestant.
And in a lot of men's minds Catholic = married first do it second. No wedding ring no play..
Two: probably red headed which = hot tempered not going to be a door mat.
Good friend told me that same thing about us going together: Said there was no way she was going to have a bunch of mean red headed kids.
And there was no way she was going to become Catholic.
