David wrote: Psalm 26:1 Judge me, O Jehovah for I myself have walked in my own integrity, And in Jehovah I have trusted, that I may not wobble.
What does this mean to you individually?

Walking in integrity requires loyal attachment to God, even in unfavorable circumstances. When we bear up under trials, remain firm despite adversities, or resist temptations from the ungodly world, our integrity becomes evident. We ‘make Jehovah’s heart rejoice’ in that he is able to make a reply to the one who is taunting him. (Proverbs 27:11)

Christians who are keeping their integrity toward Jehovah welcome examination by him. They plead for it, just as the psalmist David did. Said David: “Judge me [or, Do me justice], O Jehovah, for I myself have walked in my own integrity, and in Jehovah I have trusted, that I may not wobble. Examine me, O Jehovah, and put me to the test; refine my kidneys and my heart. For your loving-kindness is in front of my eyes, and I have walked in your truth.”—Ps. 26:1-3

The ancient Greek music of the spheres, the modern day "juggling all the balls in your life", and Islam all share an interest in defining what all the different parts of life are and how to integrate them. This is not the same as integrity.

Religion means "to retie" or "bind fast." There is no theos in religion. Even Buddhist meditation promises to integrate a fragmented mind and worldview.

However, Psalms 86:1 says that we can pray for a unified heart. Jesus said to keep your eye simple and your whole body will be bright. The apostle Paul talked about a circumcised heart. This is outside of the world's style of integrating communities via democratic measures - involvement in school, charities, clubs etc. It means taking the same heart everywhere.

If you compare the seven detestable things of Proverbs 6 with the spiritual armour of Ephesians 6, you can see that the metaphors are organic. This is opposed to the world's interest in what you can see of people's lifestyles. Integrity is something you take with you everywhere.

The followiong ten words are words you might use in an integrity defenition
Principled,Honest,Scrupulous, Faith,
Truthful, Open, Consistent, Faithful, Whole, Trustworthy. All these ten words describe in part the character of someone who has integrity. One of the important elements of integrity is consistency - if we are unpredictable, if our decisions are dependent upon the day of the week, and the way we are feeling, others are unlikely to see us as maintaining integrity.
Through Daniel Chap 1 to Chap 3. We see Daniel and his friends staying with their principles, despite pressure to the contrary - a theme which occurs throughout the book of Daniel.
This seeks to illustrate the process of exploring the biblical basis for a principle. This example does not provide an exhaustive biblical exposition of delegation - and it is unlikely that you will have time to fully explore all of your principles. Rather, it takes the 80/20 approach, noting the first four examples that come to mind, along with some key points.
God is interested in all of our problems - He's told us so!! This does not guarantee that the decision we take will be the right one! But, we need to take the decision, and act accordingly. So, for me to walk in my integrity, it means, that I want to live my life according to Jehovah's righteous principles, by aligning all my decisions with those principles in mind,To live up to them as best I can I would go to Jehovah in prayer to help me see where there might be room for my integrity to be compromised, so I can keep walking in my integrity without wobbling. If I base my decisions on these things I will be applying integrity in my life, doing so, will not guarantee, that my every decision to be the best and right one, but it does mean, that I can keep my integrity and faithfullness to Jehovah God and stay on the righteous path that Jehovah wants me to be on.

The word "integrity" is derived from integrate.

If we integrate with Jehovah, we allow him to come into our hearts and direct our steps. And from then on, he is foremost in our decision-making process while we are leading our everyday lives. James 3:17 calls it the "wisdom from above".

Having integrity protects us from secret sins which no man can see - self abuse, lying, cheating, etc. It means that what we do in private and what we do in public are truly for God's glory. Only then can we carry the word of truth aright. (2 Timothy 2:15)

Wow. I just listened to a talk last night entitled "Walk In The Way Of Integrity." In it, the speaker focused on Psalm chapter 26 in its entirety. In the scripture you posted, David walked in his integrity to God. We know David made huge mistakes in his life. Yet, he maintained his integrity to God. Integrity is completeness of heart devotion to God. Hence, to walk in our integrity does not mean perfection. It means that we learn God's ways and conform our lives to that. It means we are devoted from the heart. David was an integrity keeper. His heart was devoted to Jehovah.

To me it means that we must be true to ourselves. Our integrity is the most important part of self. If we compromise that we will lose our self respect.
