My daughter's ex-best friend was always a bad influence. This girl is drinking, having oral sex with many partners, smoking pot, getting ready to try coke, driving without a license or permit, doing "shrooms", and is in to weird death stuff.

I know it is none of my buisness but they do live near me and I don't want the girl driving near my house drunk with my kids outside playing. I would want to know if my child was doing this wouldn't you.

The girl is 16.

And also my daughter- my finacee adopted after having her for a foster child since she was a baby, I didn't want anyone thinking I had her at like 8 since i'm 24.

Yes. you should tell her mom. You have a right to protect your kids as well as to protect someone else's children if they are going in the wrong way.
But be careful. Her mom might think that you are intruding into their personal life and may not take it in the same spirit.
In the alternative you may even can approach her through a friend of hers.

Personally i would advise you to do so, It would be good if you could sit them all down together and discuss the matter. Put yourself in that situation and if your shild was doing what this girl is doing. Its not every parents dream to see their child doing this stuff, especially with no idea that its going on if thats the case. You should take action before its too late. :) Head up everything will be fine. Your just expressing your concerns. Take Care

who cares what people think! You are her mom and you are concerned about her. People are always going to have opinions of whatever you do....just do what you think is right and well if they don't agree with you then they can move on! Yeah easier said than done, I know! Seriously though, if you feel this child is going to endanger your own children then you should talk to this mom. Now, is this mom going to listen to you? Is she in denial about what is going on? Obviously she doesn't keep a close eye on her child or she'd know or she doesn't care. I would keep my own child away from her!!!

If i were you ...i would. But first you do have to find the right way to tell her. If she doesn't know she will be thankful, if she knows...well she might not be very happy about it. Or you can always speak to a social worker or child protection people bc youth problems are community problems and bc that girl might endanger your family.

I think you have every right to tell her mom, (im 19) just be ready for retaliation, and the possibilty the mom will be in denial...try to get proof or get your daughter to talk to the mom with/after you. Good Luck, and too bad that girl doesn't have a mom as good as you...

I am sure her mother knows what is going on. Let's face it, most mothers do and if they don't know it is because they don't really care to know.
If you don't already know the mother well I'd say stay out of it or you are just going to make an enemy.
It is not like that the mother is going to take anything from you very well and no offense intended here but since you are only 24 I would think she for sure wouldn't take it from you.

Tell her mother especially if she is endangering you and your family: It that doesn't work then tell the police.
It will also be a good idea not to let your daughter associate with her.
