Yes, I believe they do come to you in dreams. My mother came to me. It was very comforting.

Get the book by "Sylvia Brown" and she will explain it all to you. She is also on Montels show sometimes in the afternoon, listen to her.
We have a "veil" or "shroud" that keeps us from interceding with the "other-side"
We can sometimes hear them, but not see them. Some of us, only a few, can hear, some can see, the other side but, what's amazing is, some of them can see us also.
Only some of us. Our shroud or veil is thin or we graduate to be able to experience that "other side"
Your very lucky. They cannot invade our privacy so, not to worry here, they will not invade our privacy either, like watch us take a bath, for instance. Simply.
Some people will laugh at you, I've had this happen and, I can tell when something is going to happen in the family. A member of the family that has passed will visit, I get a feeling, they don't tell me, I just get a feeling. My mom did tell me when my dad was going to go with her. He suffered so long and, she finally told me, not to worry any longer, he was coming home soon. He went to the other side that afternoon.
So, yes, I believe after being skeptical for years but, I won't tell this to anyone, they'll only laugh.
I have to also say. I died on the table with a heart attack, the doctors couldn't make me stay, I was sure I heard my grand mas voice telling me to "go back" I wasn't wanted there. I was also buried in a sandpit and had to be resuscatated, they said I stopped breathing.
It was after the heart attack that I started seeing my mom.

I believe it! My grandmother passed about 10 years ago and when my father was in the hospital 4 years ago, I couldn't get in touch with him because he was attached to many machines (in a different state). I was extremely worried about him and I had a dream that my grandmother handed me a card and in the inside it said," Don't worry, I'm fine". Then I woke up. The phone rang about 10 seconds later and it was my father and all he said was, " Don't worry, I'm fine" then he had to hang up because the nurse came into the room to talk to him.
I look at that as a blessing because not everyone has the ability for that.

i have had the same with my papa (yes i called him that)...he has been gone 7 years now...and there are times i walk around a corner and i smell him as if he was here...i don't know if it is your papa coming to you...or mine coming to me...but i like to think it is...my educated mind tells me it is just memories in my brain being released and the smell is not really there...but then i think the people who came up with that theory never had it happen...it's difficult because my study is psychology so i know the rationale conclusion...but i also have a heart and i miss my papa...and want it to be him...take it as a heartwarming experience and enjoy it when you have it...somehow you are being touched...whether by him or by your own memories...it is a good thing...

you must have missed him dearly, thats why you dreamt of him so vividly.sometimes, when we love someone so much, we remember every details of their being -the smell, his voice, its all etched inside your memory.
my nanny, she passed away 6 years ago and i still remembered the smell of her hair and the powder she worn daily. there was this one time about 2 years ago when i dreamt of her, and she was cooking a big pot of my favourite dish, and i just sat there watching her, knowing she is a ghost but i dont care. i also remembered feeling afraid to tell her that she had died and is now a ghost because i dont want her to leave me if she knows. pretty silly huh?
i dont believe its her coming to visit me, but i think its just my strong emotions towards her that made it all seemed real. i dont really mind it, i know she is in a better place than i am.

I lost my Papaw 2 yrs. ago. He has comed to my mom & my older brother in dreams. & as weird as it sounds he has visted 2 of my nieces who were too young to remember him & desricbie him as my Papaw. One of my nieces was 1 when he died & was about 2 when she started talking about her friend, "Apple". We thought it was so weird. Well, one day her mom was putting a picture of Mamaw & Papaw in a scrapbook & she walked right up, saw the picture, pointed to Papaw, and said, "That's Apple!" It was so weird. After that "Apple" was not in her useage. Her mom asked her where "Apple" was and she said she didn't know. Her mom asked her if he said where he was going and she said Heaven but she didn't know where heaven was & was trying to find him & heaven.
