Is it too late to bring a kitten or other cat into my home when I have a 2 year old female Tabby cat?

Try leaving the new kitten in a room away from the other cat for a couple days and take something with the new ones scent on it out into the room with the older one and vice versa. this will let them get familiar with the smell of each other and gives time for the kitten to adjust to the new environment. when you feel its time to introduce them keep a close eye on them. sometimes cats will fight or they will take to each other very quickly. if they fight dont get to worried, only intervine if it gets way to out of hand. your older cat may feel the need to show the new one who is the boss of the house.

It's true, all cats are different so it's hard to really say yes or no here. It doesn't matter how old your tabby is, it's more her personality that will determine if she would accept a kitty. If I were you, I would bring in a new kitten to the house because I think your tabby might just like to have a new friend. Just make sure you give them the proper introduction, I am sure it'll be fine.

All cats are different, and if you introduce them properly they should get along fine. You are going to want to monitor them very very closely at first, the main reason being that your two year old can harm or even kill your kitten. Cats react differently every time you bring a new cat in. Some cats instantly become friends whilst others take months to like or even tolerate eachother. When I have introduced kittens to other cats, from experience, they got along well almost instantly. However, this is just my experience, and most cats will not react the same way. So monitor closely until you are 100% comfortable with them being alone.

Like everyone else has said here already, it depends on your cat's personality. We had a cat for several years and we bought home a new kitten one day....they never got along. And now that cat we bought home as a kitten must get used to another kitten we bought home not long ago....but she doesn't get along with her at all. I think though, that as a kitten matures and grows up, they become less annoying to the dominant cat and so the two get along.
Whatever happens, good luck!!!!!!!!!! :)

Why could you deliver a canines right into a house which contain your pets that are very uncomfortable around canines? you're being truly egocentric and needlessly stressing your cats out. A puppy will scare the residing day lighting fixtures furniture out of your cats, they are bouncy and obnoxious, why would desire to your cats would desire to go through because of the fact *YOU* decide on a puppy? What approximately them? i'm effective they do no longer decide directly to stay in concern. Wait until your cats bypass directly to get a puppy or canines.
