Ah the old mayan clock prophecy. No I don't.

No, I don't. The Mayan civilization fell a while ago, maybe that is why they didn't make the next cycle of their calendar.
The calender on my wall ends December 31 2007, I don't think the world will end then either.

Jehovah's Witnesses predicted that the world would end in 1960.

The world as we knew it indeed did end in 1960, and I credit them as being right.

The 1960's gave us the following events that changed our way of living:

Women's lib, Vietnam conflict, assasination of first American Catholic President (John F. Kennedy), Civil Rights Movement, assasination of Dr. Martin Luther King, assasination of next would-be President, Robert F. Kennedy, Man set foot on the Moon.

All these events changed us forever.

Will 2012 give us a series of events to change our way of living again?

Maybe. It depends on who is making the prediction.

When Jehovah's Witnesses made that prediction, you could see signs all over foretelling of "Beware 1960".

So far, nobody is saying anything about 2012.

In this century you will find two conflicts that will turn against each other, and they are the masses of people placing burdens on the world's resources, and the loss of living space due to climate changes going on.

With these tremendous changes that will happen, people will fight each other for living space and other needs.

All the while, the rich and powerful conceal themselves.

Nope. We humans can try to guess as much as we want but only God knows exactly when the world is gonna end. It could end in 100 years, or it could end tomorrow, no one knows for sure though, only God.

No. I have no idea. But according to the Bible (Matthew 24:3-14 & 2 Timothy 3:1-5) we are close.

I don't think it means the end of the world....but I do think it means the beginning of a new era, and I think the new era will be very different from the world we are now familiar with. *sm*
