Being gay does not make you a sinner. God loves ALL his children. I am a married bi sexual female. I dont believe I chose to like both male and female, it is just who I am. But being a believer in the lord and knowing he loves me regardless I dont feel that my attraction to both sexes makes me a sinner.
I also dont believe one CHOOSES to be gay. Gay men and women go through hell in society. If it was a choice, I am sure one would CHOOSE to fit the norm. Be who you are, love the lord and he will love you back.

Good news and bad news.

Good news: Being gay does not make you a sinner. It is a condition - no different from being an alcoholic, a pedophile, an over-eater, or a thief. Premarital sex (gay or straight) is something that God does not approve, so it takes serious effort to fight against the temptation.

Bad news: However, being human makes you a sinner. Immorality is one of the biggest obstacles we have to overcome as imperfect humans. But it can be done. The apostle Paul fought with a weakness/temptation all of his life. But he was certainly counted among the righteous.

James 1:19-21 is encouraging.

Hmmm, the hiney was made for poo-poo.
The weenie was made for pee-pee and sex.
Because of the hiney's natural function, sex isn't an option on that model.

The natural orientation is for nomral reproduction. Anything above reproduction is personal choice. So yes, a gay person chooses to be gay because of
a) trama
b) lack of control of lustful feelings

Trama, possible childhood situation that made normal relationships dysfunctional and so a person seeks comfort and sex in the arms of the same sex.

Lust, the need for sexual gratification.

Which also explains why some choose to have sex with chlidren and animals. Lust is of the mind and drives people much farther than any physical feelings could.

I won't get into the debate sbout nurture and nature at this time but let me give at least a partial answer to your question as I believe you deserve to hear something that isn't just based on hostility and self indulgence. A sin is something which takes you farther away from God. Think of it as an archer firing an arrow. If he wants to hit the bull's eye he must take into consideration and counter those things that would interfere with hitting the target. Sin is the things that tend to cause you to not hit the taget. If your goal is not be be with God but to only satisfy one's carnal urges then so be it. But if one's goal is to be in harmony with God then one must give up those things which would interfere with that relationship. I hope this helps.

Well, being gay doesn't make you a sinner. What is sinful is to perform a sexual act that doesn't have the possibility of creating a child. This includes sexual acts between same-sex individuals, but it also includes any sexual action (by oneself or between a man and woman) that does not have the possibility of conception. So, many other sexual acts are sinful, as well. The reason why it is sinful is that the sexual act was designed with a two-fold purpose: as an expression of the ultimate love of total self-giving between the man and woman, as well as for procreation. To take away either of these ends is to mock this wonderful gift bestowed upon us by God--the gift of sex. In mocking the gift, we mock the giver, that is God, and so to do so is sinful.

No gays are not a sinners by any means.

Who cares about damn bible? It advocates slavery and death in half of it's verses.

It's like asking definition of "morals" to serial killer.

No where in the new testament that I have read talks about homosexuality being a sin. The Old testament does not apply to gentiles so being gay is not a sin.

You are a sinner, regardless of what you do, in or out of bed. If you want to be something other than a sinner, that's your choice.

I don't think being gay is sinful. Participating in gay or lesbian sexual relationships however would be sinful according to the Bible. However, it is no more sinful than straight people participating in extra marital sexual relationships or pre marital sexual relationships. It is all a matter of overcoming the body's desires in order to follow the wishes of God.
