I am not Catholic, but, I'm sure that there are true believers who attend the Catholic church as well as other churches. God isn't going to rapture any one church. He will rapture each one of us individually. God doesn't care about denominations. It's what's in your heart, because that's what God looks at. There will be people in all churches who won't go to heaven, as well as those who will. I don't agree with the Catholic doctrine, but when you attack someone, that is not the way to win them over to your side. It's sounds like you are really angry about this. I know how frustrated I get sometimes when someone doesn't want to listen to the truth. The only thing you can do is plant the seed. It is not up to you to save them. They will have to make that choice on their own, and if they don't, you will not be accountable. Kindness is the answer." A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Prov. 15:1

I'm Catholic and you can IM whenever I'm online and we can talk about Christianity. I graduated from a Christian High school (not Catholic) but I continue to attend the Catholic Church. I think you're generializing. I don't get angry when someone challenges my beliefs, I defend my beliefs.
The Catholic Church was the first church, why would we be against people who "actually" believe in scripture? We do believe in scripture.
When did Catholics murder people who wanted to pray to God instead of dead people?
The Catholic doctrine has nothing in it that encourages priests to touch little boys. Individuals made those decisions.
It is important to note that the prefix "co" in the title Coredemptrix does not mean "equal to" but rather "with", coming from the Latin word c*m. The Marian title Coredemptrix never places Mary on a level of equality with her Divine Son, Jesus Christ. Rather it refers to Mary's unique human participation which is completely secondary and subordinate to the redeeming role of Jesus, who alone is the Son of God.

A simple manifestation of in-security in the faith? That seems to be the common problem with evangelical religions, period. Just look at the way you phrased your question: "Why do catholics get so angry when you challenge the religion with ACTUAL CHRISTIANITY?" WTF is ACTUAL CHRISTIANITY? If there is, in fact, an ACTUAL CHRISTIANITY, there wouldn't be nearly as many Protestant denominations.
The fact is, you are pompous. If you approach the "showing of the actual truth of Christ" with the same tone as you asked this question in, no wonder catholics get mad. I'm not Catholic, and you ave offended me.
My friend, it seems as if you are amongst those who are insecure in their faith. If you were secure in your faith, you would not be so militant in seeking conversions. The reality is that you do your faith more harm than good with that attitude.

Most people will become offended if you challenge their particular beliefs. The things you mention were done by men not by God and the ways of Man are wicked and corrupt. God gave Man the Word but he sanctioned no religion which is a creation of man. If God had a religion it would be Jewish, Jesus was Jewish and they are The Chosen people as the Bible clearly states.

maybe cause they sub-consciously know the truth or maybe they know but they don't want others to know. i think atheists are kinda like this. they know that there is something greater out there (God) but the don't want to admit to it. they see Christians as people who have nothing better to do and they don't want to join that crowd. it was Christians who helped to create the first schools, hospitals, churches, musical instruments etc. Hill-song is a cool group of Christians but atheists are getting put of by those people on the TV who make us real Christians look bad. catholics don't want to submit either. maybe they're just to stubborn?they aren't open to the idea of Christianity how it should be but still we should pray for those who are arrogant and refuse to come before Christ. cheers- Tomatoe

Insider Info: There is no god. You will die, and you will have wasted your life. Sucks to be you.
Well, are you upset? It doesn't feel nice to be told that everything you know is wrong. Fortunately for me, I have already accepted this, and have therefore decided to life free of any religion. Believe what you want, and don't be too condescending when you tell people how you think they should live. Have a nice life, whatever kind it may be.

I don't get mad. I just walk away. It's more of the usual "sola Scriptura" evangelical Protestant obsession with denouncing a religious viewpoint they don't even clearly understand. "Actual Christianity" was Catholicism for how many centuries before Protestantism came along? Anyway, there's more to refuting another person's religion than mere Bible-thumping. There is no talking with certain types of evangelicals, I've discovered. They came in thinking they've got all the answers, and they'll walk out exactly the same way. Thankfully, most Protestants have more grace, tact, and Christian love than to behave like this.

Are you a Christian? I ask because I see some pretty obvious judging going on here. Leave the Catholics alone and examine your own behavior.

You accuse Catholics of so many wrongs. How innocent are you or whatever religion you are? Ever consider anger management?

Because they really do not want people to know the truth. If everyone actually researched the catholic faith. They will see that most of the pratices are actually pagan.
