I don't trust those sites. It seems like the very premise is to collect as much information about you and then group you with someone who has a similar coincidence factor. "What? You like Skydiving? I LOVE skydiving!" or "Hey, you're from upstate New York? I grew up not twenty minutes from you! We were 10 miles away and never knew our soulmate was right around the corner!" Plus you also know that anyone on those sites are also looking for someone and are trying to make a relationship happen. Probably they are willing to force a few details and let a few things slide that they probably shouldn't just so they don't miss out on an opprotunity to make a connection. The problem is that these type things only get you so far. At some point these superficial things break down and you are left with two lonely people who are so inept at social interaction that they needed a computer matchmaker to meet someone.

the problem with these sites is that you never know what you are getting. someone could be playing around with your head so much, and just lie about who they really are, and you might trust them, but be hurt in the end (or worse). i would say that your best bet is to try to find someone in person, even if it takes longer.
