I'm Native American "Red Road". because my mind is open top visions and to seeing things that others cannot see nor imagine. That is not to say I do not respect Yashuway and other Prophets who taught here on Mother Earth. Had I not observed with my own senses the visions provided by Creator I would be an atheist. Peace : )

There are probably at least a thousand reasons. Some that mean the most to me included the facts that it fits me, it's logical, it is a living religion that allows me direct connection with the Highest Power and I don't have to go through a preacher, priest or whatever to learn more.
There is a loving relationship that allows everyone free will and doesn't threaten them with damnation if they don't accept him.
It supports me and uplifts me and has never asked a single member to kill another human being in his name.
It teaches through love, caring and guidance without any threats of harm.
I could go on but those are some of the main points for me.
Blessings!

I born as hindu, will continue as Hindu(for others) because Hinduism taught me religion is nothing but mask.
I have gone through all the religions, I could not find much difference in their inner meaning.
Hinduism is the only religion which says to find out the truth yourself, and not to follow blind belief.
Only here I am allowed to discuss/argue about hinduism and its belief. I am free to argue.
It clearly says there are so many paths to reach god or truth or divinity.
Even atheism is accepted very well and it is also a path to reach god or truth or divinity.
Because of this freedom now I have realised truth.
Now I dont belong to any religion even Hinduism.
If I say that I belong to a particular religion or group, then
I am far away from humanity, god, almighty, truth.
In search of god, I have found out there is no Individual god,
I am within him and He is in me.
Whole universe is nothing but god.
I have found that there is no difference between others and me(living and non-living)
God is ocean, I am the drop of ocean ofcourse not only me
everyone in this world.
pure love is the only language to realise god or truth or divinity or whatever you call.

I guess you can call it comfort in what you know. For me it has been a very hard road to continue to follow, I am Catholic and three of my four brothers were among the first to come out about being molested by a "priest". However, it is the faith I believe in and it is just what feels right for me. I have dappled in many different religions from Pentacostal to the Church of Latter Day Saints and several others. I never got the same fulfillment although I respect them all. I guess the Catholic faith has lead me to be the person I am today, and to be true to my faith is to be true to myself.

OK 1st I don't consider myself as having a religion...because the "world" throws that term around...I do believe in Jesus because I have saw him do things from give me money when I needed it out of nowhere and give me favor in situations...I had to get a car fixed and was told it would cost about 7-800 it turned out being free...I was told by a teacher I would get an F in their class and there was no way I would pass and prayed on it I ended up passing the class...I have heard "a voice" tell me to stop when I was speeding and after doing it I saw a family of deer shot out into the road now if I were speeding they would have all ran into me and at the speed I was going I would not have stopped in time to avoid them...as I get older and NEED him for more things it actualy sometimes leaves me dumbfounded to see the miracles happen in my life...I know I asked for them but to see it happen makes me think ... yo there really is something up there listening to me and keeping me...I once was confused about what to beleive and so I said God whoever you are show me...I won't call you Allah or Jesus because I don't know what is real and he has shown me what is real so just pray and be honest and the truth will be revealed to you...

I'm an LCMS Lutheran. By God's grace I have remained in it.
My husband & I have been hurt by many individuals in the church, but the theology is thoroughly worked out & doesn't require me to turn off my brain when I walk in the doors, nor when I live my life outside of the doors. Neither does it require me to compartmentalize my life. (Of course, the adherance to this theology depends on the congregation to a certain extent, unfortunately.) Generally speaking there's a proper distinction between Law & Gospel which is very important to being true to God's Word, but also very practical & useful in spiritual & physical life.

You could call me a cultural Episcopalian. I believe that all paths lead to God, but still go to a little, liberal church. I like the liturgy and the music. It's probably about the same as people watching reruns of tv shows from 30 years ago - nostalgia. I like the sense of community that that this parish has, there is a willlingness to discuss anything. Disagreement is frequent, but anger is rare.

I was raised in Christianity, and remained in it because I have seen effects of god in my family and myself actually god has saved me and my household from death many a times from tornadoes to electricity which is wierd you are asking this since just last month we were have problems with the electric in our house and we go look at the breaker box which is sparking out at us and our breaker mine has well of not been there at all our house "should not have been standing" and wouldnt have if god were not protecting us. Also a few years back living in Houston Texas in a Mobile home a tornado went down our street wiped out everything in site every mobile home and the brick church on the corner but my dad sat on the porch watching it go past us leaving not a thing in our yard out of place and our house untouched.
much love, god bless,
Brittany
