The obvious: wash it more often.
But the less obvious: I don't know which product type you're using. Are you using a conditioning shampoo? An all in one shampoo with conditioner? A body wash/shampoo product?
If you're using an all in one shampoo + conditioner, stop. If you're using a shampoo/body wash, stop.
Buy a shampoo for hair that needs body. It will cleanse off more of the oils and add back a little protein.
If you're using conditioner all over your head, stop. Use on the ends of your hair only.
HTH!

I agree with Good Girl. Wash your hair LESS not more. Your hair is trying to compensate for the lack of nutriments which you are washing out. Twice a week is more than enough. Use a good quality shampoo, rinse and shampoo again and leave it in for a few minutes before rinsing out completely. Then condition. Do not leave the conditioner on at all, rinse off immediately. Squeeze through a towel to dry. And try to protect it from windy days because the wind will strip the oils and your hair will try to make more all over agian. Hope this helps.

Okay, as for skin, try this every day for a week or so, then cut it down to once a week: 1) Crush up some uncoated Ibuprofen or Aspirin (Ibuprofen works better). 2) Get 2 tablespoons of honey. Mix the two in a small dish and rub on face. Leave it on for about 5 minutes, and wash off with a facial cleanser. As you wash it off, the mask doubles as a scrub. I tried it to help my acne, and it works. Both Aspirin or Ibuprofen and honey are anti-inflammitories that will bring the swelling down. And I would suggest some Herbal Essences shampoo or Pantene for curly hair.

Wash it every day, that washes the oils out of your hair. They have special shampoos for really oily hair you can try using those to see if that helps.

My hair was like yours then i seek-ed for professional help. The hairdresser told me that if you was your hair to much you are taking out the natural nutrients and that is why your hair is oily. Your hair keeps on trying to built more nutrients. I then started washing my hair less, and now i don't have a problem.

i had this exact same problem
whatever you dont dont wash it more.
most shampoos strip your hair of its natural oils.
then the conditioner replaces it with a specail oil aimed to make it glossy.
i had a really great hairdresser who never EVER washes her hair. like hasnt for many years.
so i just stopped all together all i did was rinse my hair with hot water ever couple of days.
the first threee months or so were pretty bad.
but it was all uphill from there.
six months on and i wash my hair once a month and my hair has never looked better.
try it,
it cant hurt :D
i sasve a fortune on shampoo and conditioner.
