help please new dorm?

i just went to colledge i have my own dorm and it comes with a bed {clean but nosheets blankets or anything it is completely empty ,my parents gave me $500 to buy whatever i need.please help me find a cheap store with good quality furniture to make my dorm cozy

I got my bedding stuff at bed bath and beyond, that can be a bit pricey though. Target has great comfy stuff, and for decorative stuff I'd recommend walmart (just because it's cheaper.) $500 should be more than enough. You can check out target's website ahead of time to see what you like and prices.

You can get a complete set at Walmart for about 20 bucks as long as you don't mind plain colors and cheap linen. Go up to 40 and you may find a better quality set at Target. *** All else fails it is a great opportunity to knock on a guy/girls door that you would like to meet and break the ice by asking to borrow some line or a comforter until you get a chance to really shop. Don't be shy, enjoy the college experience! Some people will always say no but the only ones that matter are those that are kind and friendly enough to say yes.

May check the newspaper classifieds and some yard sales. May look for a small Fridge, Desk and chair, then a small couch or a few chairs and lamps. Think about the room you have for stuff. May use a measuring tape to know what can fit where. Do not hurry but, look around some to get an idea of what things sell for so you know a good deal when you see it. This sounds exciting, I think back when I did this. Good Luck and have fun, just keep your head and not get into trouble.

You can try Walmart, Target, and Ikea. They are reasonable! Oh, and try TJ Maxx, and Marshall. Name brand things at a discount price!!

go buy a remnant from the carpet store to make cozy ,check out second hand stores,
