I do not argue about religion anymore, it's been established that arguing about God or Christ or any Deity is a moot subject, because there will always be someone who disagrees no matter how hard you defend your faith. I feel as long as you are at peace with yourself in what you believe then that is all that should matter. Blessed be!

I don't. When you argue about anything, we as a people are moving off of emotions which is 9 out of 10 very dangerous. The Sacred books I've read all state, "Do not argue about religious beliefs." Saying this, I have not problem explaining my beliefs and at the same time, I can and do respect the way others worship. I've learned doing this eliminates arguments.

I just try and use the facts that I know and try to avoid the things that can be taken out of context...if the argument becomes heated I simply take a step back and forget about it...with my religion (Christianity) I hope that my actions in life will act as a witness and I may not know every defense but I try to be open minded to what others believe and not condemn them for their beliefs (I know I am a Christian and yet I try not to be condemning most people would drop their jaw in disbelief) But I just try to use the knowledge that I have off of the top of my head to defend my religious beliefs

What arguments are used to defend that all men are created equal? The world lust toward religious arguments and views of beliefs, yet I believe and should any one want to have a argument over my religious views that tells me that there beliefs aren't that strong,But I am that I am.

I don't argue religion...there are way to many religions in the world to assume that any religion is 100% correct. At some point I think everyone questions their beliefs, at least momentarily....there is always that "What If" but, I think everyone should defend their beliefs, I don't think there is a right or wrong religion. Knowing there is a higher being and knowing right from wrong is sufficient for me.

Most of the time I will not argue my religious beliefs. Sometimes I will respond to a question about religion if I don't feel it was written just to antagonize and inflame people. I will just say what I think and leave it at that because people all have their own beliefs that they feel are right.

That's such a broad question because I have so many religious beliefs. I can only answer in generalizations. I use historical arguments to defend religious beliefs that are historical in nature. I use philosophical arguments to defend religious beliefs that are philosophical in nature.

My faith is weak, I have more hope that faith I suppose.

I believe that the witness of people who walked with Jesus and were willing to die for their belief in him is astounding.

The same is true of other believers throughout history, who have followed God in the face of adversity. There have certainly been many faithful among the fakes, freaks, and abusers.

I don't see nearly as many biblical prophecies as specific and fulfilled as some claim. But there are some that appear valid, and some of the relatively counter intuitive wisdom of the OT makes me believe divine inspiration is possible.

I also believe that the church has strayed far from where it should be in dictating rules and feeling and exclusive claim on God.

Love God and Love Others. This is the essence for me.

The need to defend implies the possibility the challenge of the the belief is fact.... As long as the Belief System applies to oneself, there is no need to go huff and puff, then kill each other just because your belief is different from mine....

It just degenerates the values that the sages and divine ones are trying to instil in us.... not logical to preach Love, Peace and Harmony... and then go to war to get it.

arguments are made of logic & reason, but religion is made of faith & belief. there are arguments involving one's right to have a religious belief. there are arguments involving religious beliefs gone wild, which need to be stopped.

but the content of one's religious beliefs cannot to be justified by or used in arguments. religious beliefs are immune to reason, and therefore they have no place in rational thinking.
