No, but being reasonable intelligent in what is asked might be a good idea. Some go off on what they think they know, but actually haven't a clue. I see it as an I heard, that makes it true situation. Problem is, their facts are usually very wrong. They placed mouth, or fingers in motion before their brain was properly engaged, and held the correct information.

There is nothing wrong with asking questions about God. If the motive behind the question is pure! What I am trying to say is that if you ask a question about any subject, person, or God the question should be for better understanding to try to trip up, make someone look bad, or be critical! Other than that what is about God is between you and God if that is your belief. I happen to be a christian, I do not force my beliefs on others. If someone ask me about my faith I will answer. My personal opinion on the subject for non-christians and christians alike is this: Reading the bible provides one with information about how to act and how to treat others. Treating your neighbor as you would like to be treated, loving your wife and listening to parents can not be seen as negative advise by anyone. God is my answer to a lot of lifes questions. Where you find your answers is up to you. As I will respect your religious or non-religious beliefs so should you respect mine.

I am a Christian & I agree with you.

I don't believe there is anything wrong with asking questions about God. As a matter of fact, I believe God welcomes questions. He gave us brains, right? Honestly, if we never question anything how can we reach our own conclusions & deeper understanding?
I'm personally disappointed when I meet other Christians on here that shun questions, drive people away, & simply rant & quote scriptures.
Keep asking, my friend. Curiosity is in our nature for a reason.
I guess it's become obvious - just be careful who you seek your answers from.

No, it is not wrong at all to ask questions. In fact it is very good to ask questions and also to seek answers to those questions. Some religion say it is not good to ask questions because they do not have the answers you seek even though the answers are in the Bible.

For example, the Bible tells us that when we die we go back to the ground and our thoughts do perish; simply put, we ceased to exist as oppose to being tortured eternally in hellfire. so keep asking questions and dont let "anyone" discourage you from doing so and ask them to show you the answer in the Bible, dont just take their word for it.

Bible says to ask and it shall be given seek and you shall find and to knock and it shall be opened how else do you know if you are on the right track if you don't ask the conducter. You have to ask a teacher if you have a question on what she teaches. Is man the teacher or is God if man is where did he get his answers?

Absolutely NOT! Read through the Bible and see how many people question God. Job, Abraham, Jesus (asks God if there's another way), Thomas, etc.

I encourage people to ask questions, even the one's I know I can't answer. God's not going to be offended!

Nothing is wrong about God. He is the epitomy of Perfectness, and nobody comes close to Him and is certainly not better. He gave us life, and we thank Him. He gave us everlasting life, and we thank Him. It is always OK to ask questions, because not all is known about God. I believe when we die, however, all shall be revealed.

I do not think so.

It is in our nature to question. Human beings would not have gotten where we are today if we never asked the simple question of why.

This is what has set us apart from other species on this planet, we ask why and they just do.

I believe that if you don't ask questions about God, your mind will fill with false answers and leave no room for truth.
