Psychic means one who is able to read fate within their ability, hence a psychic "reading". Just as people can read better and faster than others, so can some people be more psychic than others. How do people not see this?
Fate does not mean we don't have free-will, it is simply that things are planned in an open-ended manner. Fate is not a straight line, it is many lines in which we have the choice at the crossroads. How does this not make sense?

Why, if psychic means "reader" just as we read people, and fate is the list of many paths we can take, do people think it's not real? If the spirit exists, and God exists, and Jesus and miracles exist, why is it so hard to believe psychics are real?
Even Jesus made mistakes. He said, in his defense: Let him who is without sin cast the first stone. Can we not see the truth? He basically said: Yes, I've made mistakes, but so have you! He didn't pick up a stone and say, "Hah! What now?"
Even psychics make mistakes, so why not believe?

Okay,
1. We don't know everything about ANYTHING.
2. The fakes DO ruin it. Just as anything fake ruins the real thing. It make us skeptical to be deceived.
3. There are truths and untruths. Truth coincides with truth, and untruth coincides with untruth. Truth is eternal, untruth eventually dies. Therefore, untruth needs truth to survive. So, without real psychics, fake ones wouldn't have a business.

My point was: psychics make mistakes. They aren't "special". We are all psychic. We all have moments where we don't understand where things come from. "I got a bad vibe," "That sounds right, but I can't explain why," "I got a bad feeling about that," "Something's wrong, and I don't know what it is."
Random feelings of guilt, random ideas about people, etc. WE are all psychic. It's a natural, but none of us are perfect. Sylvia Browne isn't perfect, I am not perfect. None of us have all the answers, some of us can do things others cannot.
Do you know any psychics, personally? Have you ever met one? Have you tried to? How do you explain "funny feelings" or any of the prophets of the Bible? They are righteously psychic, is that why they are okay?

PEOPLE! Jesus wasn't Christian! Christian means "follower of Christ". Christianity was based on Jesus, he didn't create it! Jesus was an Essene.

Predestination exists in the sense that it is vague. It is an outline. That is the only way it works with free-will.

Say you have a reputation, and you tell lots of people that you can do something or have done something. Say you have told the school, and everyone has heard, you can do a back-flip. Then, you mess up in front of people when someone finally asks you to do it. Now, everyone thinks you're a fake!
What do you do? Try again, or not care what they think? Is it your responsibility to convince them?

There's a joke I love: A man is sitting in the corner of a bar. Another man notices him, and he comes up to him and says, "Why so glum?"
The man looks up, sadly. The other guys says, "Hey! I know you! You're that famous farmer! You've tilled the land for years!"
The farmer says, "Yes, that's right. I've tilled the land for years. I've made food for this town, milked cows for the people, kept low prices through the droughts, worked hard for my family... but one goat."
The joke is that the man did so much to prove himself, molested an animal and his whole life's work was defamed by one mistake.

Probably because there are so many fakes out there. Many people may even look at it from a religious standpoint - a wrong one - and call it a satanic gift. What they fail to realize is that everyone is capable of it, and it's a gift from the Creator. Nothing to fear, nothing to reject, it's just how we were all made. It's just a matter of using it or not.

The Lord Jesus never sinned and the reason He did not throw a stone was because He wanted to show mercy. That's why He told the woman, "Where are you accussers. Neither do I condemn you". And yes, psychics are not divinely inspired. psychics work through demonic spirits, but most of them do not realize it. Demonic spirits have a file on everyone and their activities. They spread the information to other demons and those which work through psychics. That's why that can tell you information about yourself nobody else should know. Also, there spirit can set up events which make it seem like the psychic was foretelling the future. But the overall goal of a psychic spirit is to lead you down a path which will bring you into bondage or get to killed. For example, a psychic told a woman she would meet a man with certain features on a certain day and this man would be the love of her life. Well it happen just as the woman predicted. The woman and the man had a relationship but later ended up bady abusing her and she had to leave the relationship. Point, whatever psychics tell people will always have a perverted twist, because demons are involved in it.

You seriously believe that Christ made a mistake because he had the wisdom to tell the one who was without sin to cast the first stone. If that's not pure blasphemy, I don't know what is! Jesus had the wisdom and brain to know that this was the only way that they wouldn't stone the woman. It didn't mean for one second that he had made mistakes... He was perfect and only for that reason did his perfect sacrifice appease divine justice to allow us to live forever again... (as human goes that is!) So, if you call yourself a psychic, perhaps you could begin with understanding the basics... and then assume to know what makes others tick or what they are all about. As when it comes to Jesus, you sure missed the mark and that's what sins are all about!

Because people are scared of that which they cannot see. The mind is beautiful and it can do amazing things. Most people do not have the ability to use our brains to it's full capacity but those that do are considered freaks or frauds? I think it is an amazing gift.

I believe in psychics because one knew things about me that no one could possibly know. It was truly an amazing experience.

People think psychics are fake BECAUSE of fakes psychics, not in spite of them.

Silvia brown and John Edwards are examples.
Don't believe Silvia brown is fake? See you tube, and this is coming from one who believes in psychics

P.S. About your gospel example:

1. There is nothing in the story that implies that Jesus erred. (Fallacy of affirming the consequent.)

2. The story is apocryphal; it does not appear in the earliest extant copies of John. (It's still a beautiful story, nonetheless.)

3. Everyone makes mistakes, but you really need a success rate higher than random chance for "mistake" to really mean anything.
