I am a muslim, who also believes in Jesus Christ. Is it ok for a muslim to read the bible and believe in Jesus, Moses, Noah, Abraham? It is also said that Jesus is god or the son of god in the Christian faith, but it says that he is a phrophet of god in the quaran. Which one is he? Also, how do the religios differ?

1.) Mohammed denied Jesus was the Son of God - the Messiah come in the flesh and this made him an antichrist (1John 4:1-2).

2.) Mohammed rejected the death of Jesus claiming instead that he did not die on the Cross.

3.) Mohammed denied the resurrection of Jesus claiming that since he did not die there was no resurrection.

4.) Mohammed rejected conversion to Jesus as the ONLY person and name for salvation (Romans 10:9-10, John 1:1;12;14 & Acts of the Apostles 2:38).

5.) Mohammed rejected the New Covenant of Grace and adopted Old Covenant Law-keeping practices from the Jews.

6.) Mohammed rejected the teachings of Jesus and the teachings of the Apostles. Mohammed adopted many Pagan practices instead.

7.) Christian Arabs then living rejected Mohammed as a prophet and called him a deceiver because of his evils, his sins and his False teachings.


*Allah was the moon god who appeared most brilliant at night when full, he was the "one" and "only" god of the night the sun never appearing in the night. To say "Allah" was then to designate the god who is one who rules the night. Al-Lat is the ancient form for "the goddess." Semiramus was therefore al-Lat the goddess. In ancient times al-Lat was a wife goddess. Allah is not the name of the true God in heaven! In ancient Arabia the chief god was Allah and is the name of the ancient moon god worshipped in Babylon. This can be traced to his father and his ancestors before him. *“Mohammed did not discover a new god named Allah from the Jews. Allah is Not the same God as Elohim or Ehyeh in the Old Testament. *Allah was a god the Jews were forbidden to worship or to follow as this idol was numbered and included among all other false gods! Mohammed did not get the name Allah from Christians. Mohammed claimed Allah had no sons and this was directed at Jesus that he was not the Son of God born of the virgin Mary.”*

This god-name Allah is in his father's name Abd-allah! The parents of Abdallah named him after their own god, the moon god. Accordingly, the crescent moon is the emblem of the god allah and this idol appears on every mosque in the world. It is the family crest of Mohammed's family. Mohammed and his successors in the cult of Allah have purposely mislead Muslims and distorted the truth all to deceive the Islamic masses to believe the name of God has always been Allah, and that even Abraham knew the god Allah. This is easily refuted when we notice in the Quran that Ishmael's name does not contain the name "Allah" but rather "el" which is a contraction of "Elohim." In the life time of Abraham we do not find him calling God Allah but for instance "Elshaddai" or God Almighty! If Abraham knew the name of a god named Allah would he not have incorporated this into the name of God as Allahshaddai? We can trace the crafty and deceiving Mohammed and his successors as they fabricate the Quran by comparing it with the Old Testament record. Naturally the Muslims will claim the Jews corrupted the Old Testament and took out the mysterious name of god and inserted instead Elohim or El. If so, the Muslims are guilty of the same sin because they use names out of the Old Testament containing the name Elohim and the contraction El.
Islam is the continuation of an ancient moon god religion that thrived in Arabia before the time of Moses in 1450BC. The religion was revised by Mohammed who added to it a mixture of the Old and New Testaments and many other new pagan customs. After the death of Mohammed the religion was further refined and modified by his successors. There are two main branches of Islam, the Shiah and the Sunni. The true authority of this religion passed from Mohammed to his step son Ali-Omar, one of his first six converts and who fought along side him as he sought to establish his new renovated Islam. Several of Mohammed's friends decided they would not have Ali-Omar to succeed Mohammed over Islam and having the admiration and loyalty of many more of that growing religion they split apart and Islam became divided. The first three Califs of the Sunnites schism were AbuBarr, Omar, and Uthman. The Sunni Moslems out number the Shiah Moslems.
Ishmael is the son of Abraham of Hagar the Egyptian. Now the race of Hagar was black. She was not a white woman and she was not an Arab. Abraham was not a white man and he was not an Arab. Accurately, Abraham was Syrian and either brown or black. Scholars play alphabet soup with his name Abram and ham (Abraham) and make "ham" to mean nations and thus Abram=Father and ham=nations, thus "father of nations." The facts may be a little different with Abram=Father and ham=black since the land of Ham was the black or dark brown race. Abraham then could very well mean "father of a black or dark brown race." The original Jews could have been black or dark brown. THey were not white people. In any case Hagar was an Egyptian black or dark brown. The Canaanites and even the Moabites appear to have been a black or dark brown people. The point here is that Ishmael was a black or dark brown man he was not an Arab! Mohammed and Arabs are not descended from Ishmael and there is not a single scholar who can prove they are. The claim is based upon the pure speculation and theory of Jews who taught this to Mohammed. If Islam has Abraham for its founder through Ishmael as they claim, and if Islam is a religion initially based upon race (the promises to Ishmael's seed only and not to that of Isaac), then only blacks or those dark brown can be true Muslims. If as we know, Islam is a false religion based upon idolatry and worship of the moon god, then what ever the race a person might be, they could not be Muslim if they worshipped the true God! The message of Jesus (a black or brown man), to all nations, was Grace not Race.

"We even find better proof that Elohim is the true God and not Allah by looking in the Quran. Arabic is a language of many copied words from many nations. One of them is the Arabs great patriarch Ishmael. The name Ishmael is Jewish and is said to mean “Elohim hears”. Very interesting because in Arabic, people who usually have god in their names usually reflect Allah, for example Abdallah. However with Ishmael this isn’t the case. In Arabic the last 2 letters "el" in his name represent EELA or EL, which is God in Hebrew. Why Hebrew, you might say? Simple, because this name was copied by Mohammed exactly from the Hebrew language and the Jewish Bible. This shows us that Allah isn’t El because if Mohammed and the Arabs originally knew the name Ishmael meant, “God hears” then they should’ve or could’ve implemented Allah into the name Ishmael which they did not. This along with the knowledge the Arabs called God “EL” in the Arabic language long before Allah came on the scene lets us know that EL can be written, spelled, and used as God in the Arabic language. History shows this case but yet disproves Allah is not in the name of Ishmael! Read this verses from the Arabic Quran and notice how EL in IshmaEL “Elohim hears” is present strong and well. Why would Abraham name Hagar's son after Elohim if he already knew God as Allah? Conclusion - Allah was not the God of Abraham or Ishmael.
The name "Arab" is claimed to mean "arid." But this is false as are a lot of modern interpretations of Bible names and words. The name "Arab" is an ancient Hebrew name and means a mongrel or a mixed breed (Strongs #6154). Where do the Arabs come from? We are certain they did not come from Ishmael. There is this dirty little secret that Jewish scholars do not talk about often. In fact, so many have not talked about it for so long most Jews do not know this dirty little secret. The Jews who taught Mohammed that Arabs descended from Ishmael perhaps did not know and if they did, they purposely misled him. Here is the dirty little secret: THE ARABS CAME FROM EGYPT WITH THE JEWS DURING THE EXODUS! According to Exodus 12:38 a "MIXED" multitude when up out of Egypt with the Israelites. According to Strong's #6154 the meaning of "mixed" in this text is "ereb pronounced ay-reb" and means a mongrel or mixed race. This mixed race is from two possible sources: 1.) a group of half-breeds who were Jewish and Egyptian, or 2.) they were a mixture of Egyptian and the Hyskos. Scholars have wondered what became of the Hyskos, they disappear into history. This we know, the mixed multitude came out of Egypt with the Israelites. We know also that they fell a lusting and were the cause of God's anger (Numbers 11:4). In Nehemiah 13:1-3 he recounts the escape of Israel out of Egypt. And in verse 3 he tells us that Israel separated themselves from his mixed "ereb" multitude. This mixed multitude were left in Arabia (Arabia from "Areb or Ayreb"), near Mount Horeb (Sinai) as the Israelites began the trek north along the eastern side of the Jordan river. The mixed Ayreb multitude then grew in numbers and spread deeper into the desert pensula establishing the land and people of Arabia. These mingled with the Minaean and Sabaean (the source of Sheba) kingdoms. Since Persia conquered this region the Arab mixed bloodline will show infusion of that race. In any case, the "mixed multitude" called Arabs in the Bible, disappear and we never hear of them again other than as Arabians (meaning the people of Ayreb or people of the mixed multitude). The modern Arabs of Arabia descend from this ancient source. I personally believe the facts will prove that Arabs were originally half-breed Jews of Egyptian descent and rejected at Mount Horeb as bad seed in whom there was no Godliness or Spiritual virtues of the one true God. I also believe DNA test may reveal there is a great affinity between the Arabs and the ancient Jews. Throughout the Old Testament, there is never any trouble against Israel from Arabia. There is also no offered help. The animosity may have extended through several centuries. In the mean time, just as the Jews intermingled with other race stocks developing from being black/brown to now a white race, even so the Arabs also intermingled with the race stocks of the far eastern nations and are no longer the representative stock of the Egyptian race. Since these did not accept the Covenant at Mount Horeb they went away into heathen practices and paganism just as Mohammed found his people when he had his alleged "night of power." Today, the Jews and Arabs of that region share nose features, face features, hair color and type, and even the percentages of different blood types show a remarkable similarity. The facts will prove that Arabs do not descend from Ishmael !

The Quran is Not a holy book. It is a novel written with philosophy and religious teachings. Muslims consider this novel a holy book and venerate it because it contains the dogmas and teachings upon which the religion is based. Mohammed did not write the Quran. There is no direct evidence that he said anything in the book that is attributed to him. The book did not surface until many years after his death. Mohammed never knew or heard most of the contents of the Quran. They were fabricated and made up by his successors and claimed to be his teachings. Therefore he did not teach the majority of what is found in its pages. The alleged sayings of Mohammed were alleged to have been collected over 150 years after his death. There is a legend that these sayings had been preserved written on palm leaves, tanned animal hides, and bones. Yet none of these alleged sacred and holy relics were preserved. Why would a fabricated book be more holy then the scraps of palm leaves, tanned hides, and bones upon which the contents were first written? The entire collection of teachings are plagerized from the Jewish Old Testament, the Christian New Testament, and paganism. Mixed into this twisted man-made version of the Bible are all sorts of heresy, evil, and false doctrines. That is why one Islamic writer called them "satanic verses." Their is a 25 million dollar reward offered to the first Muslim who will kill him! *"Jesus never taught there would be a prophet to come after him that would administer the dominion of the Kingdom of David.
*“Mohammed does not qualify because he is not of the house of Israel or the seed of David!”* The Apostles never once hinted that there would come another prophet who would replace Jesus as the head of the New Covenant Israel of God. *Jesus did say to His disciples - " But he Comforter - The Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you." -John 14:26. The New Testament emphasis on the blood of the everlasting covenant in reference to Calvary immediately exposes Islam as a fraud. Muslims claim Jesus did not die on the cross, a clear contradiction to the words of Jesus himself and his Apostles. Jesus prophesied he would die and be raised the third day (Mat. 16:21). Mohammed lied on Jesus when he said Jesus did not die! If Jesus did not die and if he was not raised from the dead on the third day, then Jesus was a false prophet. Yet according to Islamics, Jesus was a true prophet! Prophets do not miss in their predictions. Therefore, if Mohammed said Jesus did not die and was not raised from the dead, he is a false prophet! If as Muslims claim, Jesus was a true prophet, how come Mohammed and Muslims do not follow his teachings? The Quran begins with falsehood , contains falsehood, and ends with falsehood, claiming that when Jesus returns from heaven he will die and be buried next to Mohammed in Medina.
Many Muslims are kind and loving people because that is their own nature. They would be the same kind of good people if they were Christians. This is proven in that when given freedom to choose their own religion and they escape from the bondage of Islam, they remain kind and loving people. The leaders of Islam know they must maintain a closed system of tyranny within the nations they control or they will cease to be a world religion instantly. If told the truth many Muslims would convert to Jesus Messiah immediately. They would reject the moon god Allah and they would see Mohammed as a false prophet. The religious leaders of Muslim countries do not want this to happen. They can keep many millions in bondage to religious slavery by prohibiting the Christian religion from having religious freedom. From its beginning, Islam has been a religion of violence and force. Human sacrifices were slain as a means to obtain for the worshiper some merit (reward) or favor from the gods. Muslims who slaughter human sacrifices in the religious evangelism of the world by force, are told they obtain from Allah special favors and rewards. Especially when they sacrifice those who reject Mohammed as the prophet of Allah. To sacrifice an infidel is one of the highest honors a Muslim can offer to their god Allah. An infidel is anyone who worships any other god than Allah. Christians who worship Jesus as the incarnation of God are classified as infidels. All are guilty of the death penalty. Therefore any Christian who enters a Muslim controlled country is an infidel and if this person attempts to persuade any Muslim to convert to Jesus as the Messiah come in the flesh, an act of great apostasy has occurred and a human sacrifice must be offered to the god Allah to atone for this great evil. Islam is therefore a Christian hating religion and it controls all Muslims by violence and force upon the threat of human sacrifice.
Muslim means in general a person who is not an infidel and who follows Mohammed as the prophet of Allah. “At first the name Muslim did not carry this meaning. When an infidel was captured and given the choice to accept Mohammed and Allah or die, if they chose to live they surrendered totally to other Moslems. The Islamic word for "surrender" was "Musimlim! When a person recanted the God of the Bible, Jesus as the Messiah, and all the New Testament as Christians understand it, they surrendered to Islam to be made a convert. Once they confessed with their mouth "There is no God but Allah and Mohammed is his prophet" they are surrendered to Islam. They are now Musimlim! After the conquest of the so-called infidels, usually this means Christians and Jews, a person who believes there is no god but Allah and Mohammed his prophet, is called a Muslim.
The creed of each Muslim is: There is no god but Allah, and Mohammed is his prophet.
What is the plan of Salvation according to Islam? *Islam is a religion of human works. Muslims believe in fatalistic salvation, that Allah has predestinated all things and all anyone can do is fulfill fate. Souls are either prechosen by divine choice to be Muslims or prechosen to be infidels. Those who are the chosen people are to conquer the world and kill off all infidels, this fate for infidels being chosen by Allah. Actually this fatalistic doctrine is necessary to vindicate killing Jews and Christians. They can blame their actions on Allah and not have to take personal responsibility and no man may make them accountable. We see this in the number of Islamic nations who refuse to condemn the terrorist who killed many Americans. These Muslim controlled countries also refuse to allow the United States to use their land or air strips to attack and destroy these murderers. In Islam these terrorist are not only heroes, they are God's chosen instruments of judgment upon Christian infidels. Every mosque in America is a subversive hate-mongering temple of doom for Christians and Jews. All persons who enter a mosque must confess with their mouth that there is no God but Allah, and Mohammed is his prophet. Once this is confessed (willingly or by force) a person is considered a Muslim having renounced all other gods and Prophets, even Jesus – the Son of God - the Messiah.
The five pillars: The five pillars of Islam are:
1.) reciting the creed there is no god but Allah and Mohammed is his prophet;
2.) five prayers made facing east toward Mecca (before sunrise, at midday, at afternoon, at sunset, and just before midnight);
3.) fasting;
4.) almsgiving;
5.) and the pilgrimage to Mecca.
No prayers made toward Mecca are accepted unless the Muslim first washes. If he or she does not wash their prayers have no effect. The Islam sabbath is Friday and on this day all Muslims are supposed to attend the mosque where prayer is offered by the Iman. Interesting that any man who is an Iman is given considerable protection. Mohammed commanded absolute submission to the Iman in all matters of life and death. According to Mohammed, no man can consent or give an order for a sword to be raised against any Iman. Osama bin Laden is a Muslim Iman! Now you know why no Islamic leader will consent to do anything against him. To do such incites a holy war of jiad where assassinations are seen as a legal and holy duty against apostates.

Eternal Rewards: Heaven is a whore house with naked Muslim men in their mansions each surrounded by 72 virgin girls (houris is the Arabic word, sounds exactly like whores to me) ready to give them every pleasure. According to Islam Mohammed will be there with his harem AND Jesus will be there with his 72 virgin girls! All the prophets will have their mansions and the same bliss awaiting. The girls will wear the richest silk and broaches. They will wear bracelets of gold and silver and crowns set with pearls. The carpet in these mansions will be made of the best quality of silk (Muslims are big on sale of carpets). The beds and couches covered with the same. Allah will give these men perpetual youth, beauty, and vigor. Their beds of love smell of camphor and musk. There will be music and singing as the ravishing parties continue through out eternity (Wollaston, "Muhammed, His Life and Doctrine"). This fantastic paradise will have plenty of fresh pure drinking water from streams that flow through paradise. The streams flow with milk, honey, and wine. There are many water fountains whose pebbles are rubies and emeralds. Allah will place all deeds on a scale and if the good deeds out weigh the bad deeds, then the person is granted eternal rewards. If the bad out weighs the good, they go to the first hell where they may be released after some torments providing they wail and cry enough to merit being delivered.
Idolatry is the chief sin followed by apostasy or conversion to another religion, especially Christianity. Both of these sins are punishable by death. Both the person who converts and the person who converts them are guilty of death. Other minor sins are adultery, bearing false witness against another Muslim, gambling, drinking intoxicants, usury, and divination or witchcraft. Following the laws of Moses, a Muslim is not to eat blood, swine flesh, any food offered to an idol, flesh from a strangled animal or killed by a blow or fall or by another beast.
Muslims reject the Jewish prophecies of the Messiah. Jesus is rejected as the Messiah to usher in the Kingdom of God. The virgin birth is denounced. Mohammed claimed that Jesus did not die upon the cross which was the claim of Jews and Gnostics. This repudiates the entire witness of the Apostles and negates the entire New Covenant. Muslims deny there was a resurrection. *They believed Jesus failed in his mission to establish Islam and was air-lifted to heaven to return some day and bring judgment upon the Jews.* The Church as the Kingdom of God is denied. The sole exclusive right of the Messiah's Kingdom to rule the world is denied. Instead, Islam will rule the world. Christianity is considered an infidel religion. Christian infidels are those who believe Jesus was the Messiah and who pray to Jesus. All Christians who reject Mohammed and Allah after they has been presented to them are guilty of being an infidel and worthy of death. Not one prior prophet of God in the Old Testament was anything like Mohammed.

“When Jesus{not Isa’) warned of false Christs, false Messiahs, false deliverers, that would rise and say he is in the desert, that He was referring to the coming of Mohammed!" And Jesus specifically warned Christian believers not to go into the desert and not to follow such. This is the reason many Arab and Jewish Christians who lived in Arabia when Mohammed made his debut, refused to accept him. They believed Jesus already warned against such impostors. If Mohammed had believed that Jesus was the Messiah and his Kingdom was an everlasting Kingdom as prophesied, then he would have become a Christian and Jesus would have been his message to Arabs. He would have preached the doctrine of the Apostles. He did neither! From a Messianic stand point, Mohammed was a false prophet, one of the many Christians were warned not to believe!”
Muslims believe angels are without sin and they are neither male or female. They are generally invisible but animals may see them. “The highest angel is Gabriel (note his name has the "el" and not "allah"), and he communicates God's revelations to man. Next in rank is Michael, the guardian of man (note his name has the "el" and not "allah"). Azrail is the angel of death to receive the souls of men/women when they die. Israfil is the angel of the resurrection. There are Seraphim angels who surround the throne of God. There are secretary angels who record the actions of angel observers who spy on every word and deed of mankind. There are traveling angels who rush about the earth to witness and record the names of men and women who utter the name of Allah. There are seven angels over the seven planets. These seven control myriads of other angels who occupy space. "The chief devil is called Iblis, who it is claimed was once near God but was cast out of heaven because he refused to pay homage to Adam at the command of God.” These devils are harmful to humans but are continually rebuked by Divine interference. Beside all these angels and devils there are Jinns of Genii, creatures of fire. These spirit beings can be made to be slaves to Muslims. Genii can eat, drink, have sex and produce children and die, some are good and some are very evil. All these Genii are capable of receiving salvation and or be damned. Muslims have 7 hells and in the list of seven hells, that there is none for the bad Genii.
Many pilgrims also visit Muhammad’s grave in Medina, near to which is a space reserved for the body of Jesus Christ, who, they say, did not die on the cross, but will die and be buried after He returns from heaven to establish true Islam on the earth.
Muslims believe Jesus will return from heaven and there will be a resurrection. They believe and teach Jesus was a Muslim. According to the Quran the coming of Jesus and the resurrection will be preceeded by seventeen great fearful signs in heaven and upon earth, and eight lesser ones (Note:--No pretribulation secret rapture in Islam eschatology). All the dead will be raised and submit to the universal judgment. The resurrection includes all creatures such as angels, men, Genii, and even animals. The evil and wicked go to hell that is divided into seven regions, some with more torments than others.

Mohammed: (570-632AD) - Unlike the day of Pentecost when the Power of the Holy Ghost descended upon the 120 faithful of Jesus, Mohammed alleged to have his own special Night of Power that ended his spiritual search. At the age of 40, after six months of Meditation in a cave on Mount Hira, a vision came to him. The messenger was the angel Gabriel - Muhammad claimed and his appearance on that night in 610 A.D., the Night of Power, was his turning point. That night, he claimed, the word of God came down from the seventh heaven to the first, entrusted to Gabriel, who would dictate it to Muhammad as occasion demanded. "Proclaim!" the voice commanded him. "Proclaim in the name of the Lord, the Creator, who created man from a clot of blood! Proclaim! Your Lord is most gracious. It is He who has taught man by the pen that which he does not know." The Night of Power launched Muhammad on his mission, and he emerged from the cave of Hira as the prophet of Islam, through whom, his followers would claim, the final revelations of God would be given.
Typically, Arabs and Muslims feel no duty or loyalty to any group or people than their own. Their collective conscience justifies lieing, killing, plundering and terrorizing those they deem infidels - primarily Christians and Jews! Mohammed's mission was world dominion for Allah and this conquest has been the evangelistic mission of Muslims since. It is renewed annually during the month of Ramadan.

Mohammed's parents were Pagans as were all his ancestors. They worshiped the sun, moon, and stars along with a host of other local deities that totaled 360. *The primary god of the Arabs was a 12 inch oval meteorite that had fallen from the sky. A shrine had been built over this "white" rock (they claim it is black now from all the sins of Muslims who have touched or kissed it. A mystery religion was created around this Kaaba stone. Sources say Kaba means "cube" but many believe the "Ka" is an ancient Egyptian word that means "spirit or soul" (as in the ka of Osiris: Egyptian Book of The Dead chapter XXX, E.A. Wallis Budge). These also believe "ba" is the same as "bah" and Egyptian for "bright or shinning as in flood with light" (Ibid Chapter XV). Kaba then means "spirit of the light," the falling one, and in Hebrew the only word that correctly describes it is "lucifer" the fallen shinning spirit! This falling star made a big impression through out the nations of the Mediterranean Sea cost.

Mohammed's father Abdallah died just after he was born. His mother died when he was six. He was raised by his uncle Abutalib. According to ancient sources, he had epileptic fits and these were a curse to him throughout his life. Sometimes these fits became raging and violent. Some believe these were the controlling power behind his anger and wrath against those he deemed infidels as he slaughtered them. At first he was a shepherd and attended caravans that came into his village. These caravans were often a mile-long, sometimes a thousand camels. At the age of 25 he married a 40 year old rich widow named Khadeejah (kha=soul or spirit; dee=of or the; jah=yah the egyptian moon god; meaning spirit of the moon god). She birthed to him six children all of whom died very young except for Fatima. With the wealth of his new wife he had the means to travel to far away lands such as Israel and Syria (Babylon). Mohammed became acquainted with the religion of the Jews and Christians. Immediately he considered his god Allah to be the same God Elohim of the Jews and Christians. We now Know Allah is the moon god and not Elohim. This history of the Arab people coming from Ishmael was explained to him by Jewish rabbis. It was his first introduction to the theory that Arabs descended from Ishmael the Egyptian son of Hagar and Abraham. To later give his new man-made religion validity he would claim that Abraham and Hagar, with Ismael, moved to Mecca and there he built her a house. He claimed that Abraham visited Hagar there on his get-always from Sarah. Mohammed learned of Jesus from both the Jews and the Christians. From the Jews he learned his hatred for Christianaity as a religion. All of the Muslim excuses to reject Jesus as the Son of God and thus the Messiah are parallel with the claims of Pharisee Talmudic Judaism. Allah had no sons Mohammed would taunt the Arab Christians. They would reply: if Allah could not have a son how can he have three daughters? Statements such as these were sufficient to have one's head chopped off. After the Jews convinced Mohammed of law-keeping and against the Jesus of Christian Arabs, he began to teach Muslims that the Christians who are guilty of disbelieving in Allah and His religion Islam, and who charge God with getting a son by Mary are warned that Allah has prepared hell for them. The Jews claimed that Jesus was not the Messiah they awaited. They gave many alleged proofs Jesus did not qualify to be their long awaited son of the Highest, son of David. These Jews said he was just one of many prophets. God could not have a human son they taught him. Mohammed learned that they were eager yet for their Messiah to come. Islam is mostly then a Jewish Talmudic religion which at the same time developed into a religion that hated Jews, even Christian Jews. "At first, Mohammed made Muslims pray toward Jerusalem but in the year 624 he changed this rule and directed that all future prayers be directed toward Mecca and the black Kabaa stone. From the Christians he learned that Jesus was indeed the Messiah ("Jewish term Son of God means Messiah") and was born of the virgin Mary. *The Christian Arabs and Jews he did meet were not able to turn him from his sexual immorality, to repentance in order to Receive Jesus as the Messiah and LORD.* They were successful to teach him that Jesus did fulfill many prophecies of the prophets that identified and qualified him as the Messiah. Mohammed rejected much of this after Jewish influence. Mohammed called these Christians the "people of the book." Mohammed had little respect for the Christians when they refused to accept his doctrine of sexual license. They held to the teaching of Jesus on marriage of one man and one wife and that there was no cause for divorce except sexual immorality. They refused to accept Mohammed as a prophet since he denied the basic essentials of the Christian faith. **When Mohammed flat out denied the death, resurrection, and the vicarious atonement of Jesus, the Christians could not receive him!** Mohammed and Islam became enemies of the Christians and Jews and they have remained so for 1400 years.
From Jewish introductions to the Talmud and the Old Testament and a Christian introduction to the New Testament, Mohammed began to form his own theories as do most religious zealots who run amuck. Mohammed began his career as a prophet inspired by the dictate of the first commandment of one God and which forbid any other gods to be worshiped. He began to preach against 359 of the 360 idols of the people.

He did this to start his false religion, and retained his parents major moon-gods name allah - to be the name of his one God. Such are the signs of a cult and a false religion. *I encourage you to choose wisely by rejecting this False Prophet and his book - the qur'an, and to Follow the TRUE Jesus of the HOLY BIBLE.
For only Jesus Christ died - shedding all His Blood on the Cross for your sins. God rose Him from the dead by the Comforter - The Holy Spirit and HE is alive because of that. You will only find true and everlasting Peace and Happiness in Jesus Christ - the Son of God, who died for your sins. Follow Jesus Christ - not religion. Jesus wants to have a personal relationship with Himself. That was the reason you were created.

Firstly all Muslims believe in Jesus.
Yes its OK to read the bible.
Yes its OK (a must in fact) to believe in Jesus, Moses, Noah and all of Gods prophets.
Jesus is not God or the son of God as God tells us he has no begotten son.
Jesus is a wonderful man and a great prophet.

Jesus, Moses, Noah, and Abraham are all parts of islam also. The stories are similar also except that Jesus in islam is not the son of God, but is a Prophet. But like christians, muslims believe in an antichrist and also like christians they believe that Jesus will return to fight him. However muslims do not believe Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected. Instead we believe he did not die and is still alive but as all human beings he will die and be resurrected on judgement day. Thats islam's view of Jesus

Being a Christian and not having read the Quaran I cannot say what Islam would have to say about it - but I personally don't see anything wrong with believing in and following Muhammad and Jesus - I do believe Jesus is the son of God, I also believe he was a prophet. Even if you take that part out of the equation - both of them were great men with great lessons for us to follow.
A friend of mine is Muslim, a sweeter person I have never met - but she does give me censoring looks on the days I see her and I am running around bare headed and blond in shorts and a t-shirt. I think my main saving grace is she knows my heart breaks for her that she isn't safe to go home right now. (She was born and raised in Jordan and misses it desperately.) I've made her promise as soon as it is safe to travel in the middle east that she will take me with her for a visit.

If you say the word Christ after Jesus then you are basically referring to Jesus as the Lord and savior, which he is not he is a blessed prophet (pbuh).

Sure it's ok to read the Bible. Reading and knowing the holy books helps one keep an open mind. Have you read the Quran also? Have you studied what you have read? The Quran has a history to it and so it's hard to understand if one doesn't know the context.

Jesus is a prophet. You may want to take a look at some of Ahmed Deedat's books about Christianity and Islam. I believe he has a website. Google him.

You cannot be a Muslim and a Christian at the same time. They have diametrically opposed views not only about the divinity of Christ but also other Christian doctrines. It would be impossible to reconcile Christianity and Islam because Muslims look at God as a warrior; whereas, Christians perceive God as loving, merciful, good, etc. etc.

Lisa let me start off by saying you are taking a step in the right direction. Why would you not believe in them they are all real people who lived. Jesus is one part of the Trinity. God the Father, God the Son(Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. Like a three in one God. Easiest analogy water. Water is water,steam and ice. Three seperate elements but yet still one. Only Jesus can lead you to the Father not Muhammed. I know things are hard to take when you have believed and been told things since you were a child. It is okay to read the Bible and to believe in Jesus, the man. The Qur'an tells us to. But the Qur'an is a clarification of earlier scriptures, sent to correct things. It is the final word.
