awful behavior? the ability of the small, fragile human mind to understand the omnisciense of Ha'Shem (G-d) is laughable

There are much deeper concepts than what may first appear.
First of all, Adam chose to give in to the temptation. He could have just as easily said no, and held off on everything until God came to the garden again. While God "knew" that Adam might fall, He did not make Adam fall. Adam knew better, but did not do better.
A concept that seems to be quite foreign to many these days is self responsibility. There is no, I couldn't help it, or "it" is someone Else's fault. "You" choose to do a thing, that makes "you" responsible for your actions. Adam disobeyed, and all that God asks is for obedience. I really do not believe that this is asking to much of man in general.
As far as whose behavior is or was "awful", the "awful" behavior belongs to man, not God. He is the one that is always right, we are the ones that are always wrong.
God makes perfect sense, we are the ones who do not make3 sense. Simply obey God, what is the problem with that?

You make alot of sense. This is the problem that many ministers, bible teachers, and church goers try to answer every second, but manage to not answer this question. In several bible study books, i see a picture of animals in a beautiful place in the forest. It looks so peaceful almost unbelieveable. The book was titled, "heaven on earth." But if he created sin on earth, how can we ever live like this? While i try to be a positive person, and try hard to follow Gods will, life throws us to many curve balls to ever believe that earth will ever be free from sin. However, in the garden, God might have been trying to test people... which at the time was adam and eve. Obviously, eve failed the test. Not surprisingly, she along with most women...have been trying to destroy the world as we speak. Save yourself brother...run for you're life!

Why does free will not make sense? Perhaps it's because you don't want to take responsibility for your own actions. Adam and Eve had a choice and they made it. God did not make them robots. That would be nonsense. Yes, God knew they would fail because He is omniscient but that doesn't mean they were forced to make that decision. I see this as the greatest gift given to man; the ability to make your own choices. May sound tacky but praise God for giving each of us that ability.
Also could you outline some of this so called awful behavior that you see God doing in the OT?

Why is this hard to understand? Should he not hate it just because he saw it coming? God allowed sin because he would not arbitrarily force himself on us. He had to allow that which he hates or he would have to be an arbitrary, cold hearted, dictator.
Edit: mypublicident, that is the end of a parable, not an action taken by God in the NT. Context is king you foolish person. And what's more, you have not the right to decide what is appropriate behavior for God. What unbelievable arrogance.

While I agree with the theists in that you cannot have free will without the capacity to do evil. I do also agree with you as to the ludicrousness of making a test when you know the subjects are going to fail.
"God did NOT know that Adam and Eve would sin."
I'm sorry did you just say that God isn't omniscient?

i think it makes sense in a way...he was testing man, and we failed. i do understand where you are coming from...i wonder the same things and more, but i have the knowledge that god exists and i know it, can feel it 100 percent, so i dont wonder about what in the heck he was thinking
if god made sense, everyone would believe, and that isnt his whole point. if i could show God to all people, there would be no doubt in anyones mind....except that Jesus Christ showed people before, but people are so stubborn.
good luck

individual are created in purely like God. God have thoughts and thoughts it incredibly is the reason we've them too. he's able to affection and likewise of hate. He loves each thing it incredibly is sturdy so subsequently he hates each thing it incredibly is evil or undesirable. He hates sin through fact sin separate us from him he's holy he ought to not settle for sin. So as quickly as we are in sin we ought to not have a competent courting with him. He loves us very plenty so he hates what separate us from him. he's not imperfect purely through fact he able to hate. He has resolved the flaws that are on the subject of to sin via dying on the bypass as quickly as and for each and all the completed charge for our sins. Sin is almost a debt it has to paid with the intention to be happy. The Bible says the wages of sin is dying however the present of God is life in Christ Jesus. Jesus is the single that paid for our sins, subsequently that's thru him that we can be unfastened from sin. God is able to paid our sins subsequently he's suited.

God did NOT know that Adam and Eve would sin. He gave them free will. Besides...most people get it all wrong anyway...A&E weren't the first people on earth...just the first people in the blood line of the family that would eventually produce the Saviour. So of course the devil was going to do his utmost best to corrupt that line.

So that people would be able to make a choice! Otherwise He would be literally forcing Himself upon people. He gives us the freedom to either choose to sin or choose not to sin. That is why He is a loving and JUST God!

The awful behavior continued in the new testament...
Luke 19:27-28
27 But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them - bring them here and kill them in front of me.
28 After Jesus had said this, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.
