In Heaven there will be no suffering, including no missing those who are in hell. If they don't make it to Heaven then when you do, you won't even remember them to be sad.

You mean, enjoying the rewards of Heaven. Heaven is a prepared place, for prepared people. You don't get there by accident. But your question, makes since. God has that already worked out. People in hell will be totally forgotten, and not any thought of them will remain, anywhere. God will fix that. When God wipes away the believers tears, it will be done. Because there is no sadness of any kind in Heaven. That is why the Christian must witness to the unbelievers.

The truth from the Bible?
First, there is no such place as a hell where the wicked go for eternal punishing. The wicked will simply die and cease to exist. They will suffer eternal punishment, not eternal punishing (note the difference, one is final).
The idea of eternal life for the wicked is one of the lies Satan told Eve:
God said: Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Satan said: Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die......
In other words, Satan told Eve that sin would not bring death.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
James 1:15 Then when its time comes, desire gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is of full growth, gives birth to death.
Eze 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.......20: The soul that sinneth, it shall die.
The concept of hell as a place of eternal torment is from paganism and adopted by the catholic chruch. A lot of the theology of hell is taken by a play by Dantes called "The Inferno". It does not come from the Bible at all.
Secondly, the reward of the saved is not heaven. No one is going to heaven, except for maybe the marriage supper of the Lamb (Revelations 19:7). The Saints are going to rule with Christ on earth for 1,000 years (Revelations 20:6), During which Satan will be bound (v:2), after which Satan will come back on the scene (Rev 20:3,7). After this final rebellion from Satan and his followers, Satan will bedefeated and cast out from the presence of God forever.
After all this, Revelations 21 &22 show that God is going to bring a New Jerusalem down from heaven and He is going to rule from there. If HE is there, so will be the saints.
So, the Saints are not going to be in heaven celebrating, they are going to be here on Earth rebuilding and serving God.
There is also no Biblical concept for a bunch of pansies standing around playing harps in God's Kingdom.
We will have work to do.

I don't know...It doesn't seem right to me either...I think that the concept of heaven and happiness and punishment and Hell are beyond our human comprehensions; it is something that defies logic as we know it but hopefully will make sense in the afterlife; our human minds cannot comprehend what is to be, our logic does not apply to the beyond, so to speak...

I'll put it to you this way. just because your mom decided to put her hand in meat chopper and be in pain, does this mean you should do it also so that she isn't alone in her suffering? or are you going to live life without putting your hand in the meat chopper? I trust that you hand will stay in you pocket and you'll be fine. worry about your self because when the Lord comes he is going to judge you solely. The joy will be everlasting life in heaven with your angelic hands:)

We are not going to remember our past lives in this fallen world.
Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. 18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. 19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
Being in the presence of God is fulness of joy; at his right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Psalms 16:8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. 9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. 10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. 11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

What a predicament. I would have to say, in this case, heaven would be hell. Good thing heaven (and hell) are not real.
