I plan on donating my body to science. Hopefully it will be of some use. After that, from what I understand, they cremate the whats left. If they give it back to my family I hope they will fertilize a tree or something with them. I won't know what happens because I will be dead. And I do mean dead. Not floating around in some cloud world, or enduring eternal agony. Just dead.

Why is it so difficult for you to accept the answer atheists have given time after time? There is no "after" your stay on Earth. When the body dies, the brain dies and "you" die with it. There is zero credible evidence for the existence of a separate "soul" or "spirit." Atheists are almost universally materialists, which means that we accept this as fact, however uncomfortable the idea of death may make us.

See the link below for more discussion of the mind/body question.

I don't plan on leaving Earth, unless you know something I don't know. I have rather gotten attached to the planet and have not heard of any aliens planning to use us for food. So I believe I will be here, although after enough time the Sun will explode and destroy the place, but I will have died by then, well I think I will have anyway.

Not a heck of a lot.

Go to medical school if i get off my duff and make that appointment with an estate planner. Otherwise, feed some earthworms and daisies.

@Scott B - LOL. You certainly asked for it, didn't you! :-D

Dear Christians,

are you all related to dumb & dumber? ..no wonder, you keep believing in fairy tales, jesus etc.

When are you going to realized that you wasted all your life praying to a GOD that doesn't exist? ouch...I would be pretty pissed off!

go ahead, do your thing...in the meantime, I'll continue partying, drinking , having sex with lots of women while you sit there like a rock !

Nothing, after I die nothing happens except people that are still living will dispose of my body.

I feel no need to make up make-believe places like heaven and hell so I can feel better as I approach death.

Dear Aunt Carolyn: what do you plan to do with your life after you accept reality for what it is instead of what you want it to be?
--- Edit
Oh, and I don't have plans for myself after I die, because there will be no self to act on any such plans.

After I die, I think I will be cremated. Beyond that, nothing. I won't exist except in memories of family and friends.
