Yves Klein did an entire series of work based on this concept in the 60's. You could look it up for inspiration.
One suggestion... do not use oils or typical artist's paints. Many pigments and binders used in paint are not meant to even contact the skin. You don't want to ruin your girlfriend's body with lead poisoning, or give her cancer, so please use products that are safe for contact with the body. Some chemicals associated with paints are suspected of causing lymphoma.
Solvents needed to remove some paint, especially from the tender bits, can be horribly painful and many, such as toluene, absorb through the skin.
Many water based paints are safe, and will bind to an absorbent surface such as paper or canvas. Look for products that are marked as being safe for classrooms. They are usually available at craft and paint stores.
Using the non-toxic paints you might remember from grade school may not seem romantic but they can be fixed nicely after the initial printing to avoid fading or flaking with time.

It's been done many times before by many artists including myself. So what not go for it?
However, don't use oil paints. They're too damn hard to wash off. And if you're using acrylics try not to get any on her pubic hair. That, too, is a mess to clean up afterward. They actually sell body paint that is easy to wash off if acrylic isn't your first choice. Just stay away from oil paint.
Something you might want to try that we didn't do is get yourself a really large unstretched canvas, lay it across the floor, cover yourself as well as her in multiple colors of paint and start making love on the canvas on the floor. Now that should be interesting!
Have fun.

Believe it or not I did this myself a few years ago it came out very cool. I used silver and gold paint I hung the paper on the door and pressed up against it. I get lots of comments on it.
Have fun!!!
