've suffered with acne for awhile now, however, I think treating acne takes time. I got rid of of acne by drinking lots of water and eating very healthy, which was the best remedy by far. Also, washing my face twice daily. ,However, using natural cleansers made my face feel, look healthier, and clearer. Though, having a workout plan also takes a big impact on your skin, ALSO, NEVER TOUCH OR PICK AT YOUR FACE. But, if you absolutely have to, get two q-tips and squeeze the puss out gently. Then, put an ice cube on it so the redness will go away. Also, changing your pillowcases every other night helps too. I hope I helped. :)

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.

The secret is never to touch the spots

The best way to get rid of acne is to wash your face twice a day. But DO NOT wash your face with a scub everyday because it would dry up your face and will give you more pimples. I use Pore Minimizing Foaming Face Wash by Biore and it works great!!! Hope I helped!

To get rid of the acne, just use a store bought product that gets the job done. To reduce redness, you can use ClearEyes anti-red eye drops. It removes the red from your eyes and can help with acne too. It's actually a beauty secret used by Jessica Biel.

I get acne too and I've been experimenting with face washes and moisturizers for years and what I find works best is St. Ives Apricot Scrub (which is good for everyday use) and St. Ives Collagen Elastin Moisturizer, which is the absolute best moisturizer I've ever used. I really recommend them.
Little tips, make sure you moisturize after each time you wash your face and keep your hands away from your face as well, which will cause you to break out.

Drink lots of water (it actually does help, I've tried it before... I noticed a difference withing two days) and get a good routine right for your face... but don't do it too often or use to much of it or it will dry out your face and strip it of natural oils. Believe me, my brother had terrible skin for years, then he stopped using all of his harsh face washes and his face looked much better! Also, shower twice a day (maybe less, depends on skin type). Oh, and get enough sleep... it actually does help. Constanly apply sunblock lotion (get a decent sunblock lotion, but not one that makes you look oily, apply twice a day at least- this is one of the best tips I've got). Lastly, don't rest your hands on your face, this is terrible for your skin.

your going to think I'm crazy, everybody does when I tell them this, but I promise it works. SAFE GUARD SOAP. It clears up my face in less than a day. if you face starts to feel a little dry, apply a thin layer of a light facial lotion. It's my miracle. I've battled acne in the T zone for years

Make the paste of Rakta-chandan ( sandalwood ) and Turmeric with milk, and apply it over the pimples. More home remedies available at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html
