You have to be 18 to leave home without parental consent unless you’ve been emancipated, and NO judge will emancipate a minor so she can go shack up with her boyfriend.

If she runsaway, she’ll be picked up and taken back home and Boyfriend will likely be changed with “causing, aiding, abetting or encouraging minor to be delinquent or runaway child” which is punishable by up to a year in jail.

And by the way, by encouraging her YOU are breaking this law as well.

If she's in an abusive situation, report it. It'll be investigated and if the accusation is found to have merit and the situation calls for it, she'll be removed from the home. But she will NOT be allowed to move in with Boyfriend. She will be placed in the custody of the state.

If there's no abuse, stay out of it and stop breaking the law by encouraging her.

18 is the legal age - otherwise her parents can call the police and list her as a run away.
