Microsoft Windows XP is an operating system. In short, the programs you use on your computer run on it. The bottom line there is unless there's a real problem with your computer, there's no need load anything from that disk.

Microsoft Office XP is a set of programs that run on your computer, you may have used some of them before: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Again, if you already have those installed on your computer and there aren't any colossal problems with them, you don't need to load anything from that disk either.
