I am a non religious believer. With that said, the word atheist is believing into something. I only believe in days that I don't have to work, because some one invented a holliday. I thank them for that. But, back to the 20/20 issue. Do you think that it was a fair debate? Heck no, the show it self has a religious agenda. Ofcourse they will always win. Who wants to have a bunch of atheists "threatening" the peace. Lots of journalists are paid to lie, deceive, and always convince the viewers to agree with them. If you are a believer in god stay that way. Eventually you will realize nobody will save you. lol.

Ray Comfort promised he would SCIENTIFICALLY prove the existence of God without using the Bible or faith. Within 5 minutes he was quoting the Bible, and the rest of the argument was "we believe". He didn't destroy anything but his own credibility.

Granted, I thought the atheists in the debate could have done a lot better with their arguments. I was pretty frustrated at the things I felt they should have said but didn't, but they still presented a way more convincing argument than Ray Comfort did.
The whole debate wasn't that good.

I can only hope that Ray and Kirk do some more of these. They do so much to undermine the creationist movement with their embarassing arguments that a few more of these, and we 'evolutionists' will only have to say the word "banana" to get a great laugh.

I didn't see anyone on that debate on 20/20 that had anything pertinent to say, not either side. It was a pathetic excuse for a debate.

This has got to be a joke. Ray and Kirk said that they would prove, scientifically, without reference to faith, that their god exists. They didn't. How exactly did that "destroy" the atheists?

Some people have even better vision than 20/20.

Why aren't you smart enough to actually debate instead of asking pointless questions like these? And I didn't watch that.

Ray Comfort couldn't totally destroy an intelligently designed banana.

because he didn't. He was a fool. Just like in the debate where he was totally destroyed.

If you're talking about those two guys, including the one from "Growing Pains," then you are sadly mistaken. I only saw parts of it and I, as a believer, thought they were totally off base!
