Only you can make you happy. All the suffering in the world is brought about by mistaken ideas on what brings happiness. People think power over others, physical pleasures, and material wealth will bring happiness but it's not true. Happiness is a state of mind that can be learned. The poorest person can be entirely happy and fulfilled as long as their basic needs are met. Only you can do that. Not reliance on any god. You have to be the one who makes the neccessary changes in your thought patterns and how you relate to the world and universe around you.
