Adam is a type of the Lord Jesus Christ and Eve is a type of the church. That is why when God put a deep sleep onto Adam and took one of his ribs and made a woman (Eve) that created the church. When Jesus Christ was pierced in His side blood and water came forth which is a type of birth and the church was created at that time. Just like when a woman gives birth blood and water comes out.

Not being that much of a scholar, but I do have some observations of both of those subjects. (The first illustrates God's enormously greater knowledge of "science" than anone could have imagined in those days. We are just in the early stages of cloning, and yet God and Moses and anyone who read that story knew about the possibility thousands of years before so-called modern scientist could imagine such a thing. ---- On the second point, When Jesus talked about giving up his blood for the remission of our sins, it was not a sacrificial type blood (the original text was with out the "eis" ending, ) it was instead a life changing type payment of his blood similar to "it is finished".
So life started in the rib area and life started again (our reborn life) in the rib area.
(But, my husband and I do not feel that it was like winning a lottery ticket, it was more like a huge exclamation of remission concerning Jesus' blood sacrifice, of course, and a whole lot more.)

Woman was created from man rib--sin was born to humanity--the wound on the cross--the lamb(final sacrifice) before God, dying for man and wounded in the side--allowing for a more permanent covering of blood for the sin in the garden The perfect final sacrifice for mankind to end one type of reaching God--the fulfillment of the Law and the birth of the reality of Grace. That side area giving a deeper meaning to the death of the sin problem. Just some thoughts

The rib from Adam was a symbol of life(Eve) as was the Blood that flowed from the side of Jesus(Spiritual life) through the cleansing of our sins.

Well yes there are many parallels throughout the Bible.
Christ and Moses were both lawgivers and judge
Joshua and Jesus (whose Hebrew name was identical) were both leaders, one a military leader and one a spiritual leader)
Moses crossed the sea, Jesus walked on it
Elijah came before Elisha, and Elisha did twice as many miracles. John the Baptist came before Christ, and Christ did far more miracles
Also notice the Tree of Life was taken away from Adam and Eve, and Christ was hung on a tree (he was not hung on a large t cross, wood was far to rare to waste it on executions)

Creating life (which sinned)- and Jesus created eternal life to us through His blood- for the forgiveness of sins.
Pretty cool huh?
I have never thought about that before....but I would say there is a parallel

Yes and also consider the "deep sleep" that Adam was placed in and the death of Jesus which is often called "falling asleep" in the Scriptures. The Church is most definitely Christs bride from his flesh.

It is a forced, not natural, parallel.
