I have a plain old white fridge and an awesome new ikea kitchen. Well, I can't afford a new shiny fridge and this one still works, so I was wondering, can I wallpaper it or would painting it be a better idea. I found some great wallpapers, but they aren't cheap, so I wondered if anyone had any experience with this...Thanks

Paint or wallpaper is not a good idea. You can however, cover your fridge with self-adhesive decorative foil made especially for use in the kitchen and bathroom and is scratch resistant. Most people use these to line their shelves, cover stuff to make them into decorative objects (such as cardboard boxes, lampshades, etc.).

Well, they have some great new ones! You can even get stainless steel replica and leather replica. The stainless steel replica would look FANTASTIC on your fridge! It's easy to do, inexpensive and long-lasting! I've done it for 3 clients and they were very impressed!

Here's a link that may help you find what you're looking for: Check the self-adhesive decoration foil.

Try some aluminum or stainless steel paint . I think that I saw some on one of the home shows on HGTV that you can paint on a wall and it's magnetic. It should work on your fridge. Just mask off a area on the front of your fridge. Just an idea that needs to be googled...Good luck!

I wouldn't recommend wallpaper, the constant change in temp and the chance of moisture accumulating under the paint would deter me. I would buy appliance paint... make sure you sand and prep well and it will look as good as new

No will not work
