Either take her out or get her a gift certificate to someplace she actually shops. Whatever you do, do not get her a knic knack. My 80 y/o aunt always gets mad that her grandchildren are forever getting her vases or figurines. She collected them when she was younger, but she doesn't have any more room to put them out, and sees them just as added clutter that they will have to get rid of when she dies.

Absolutely nothing that will add to clutter. At the age of 75, I would imagine she has everything she needs or wants. If she is into knitting, crocheting, or other crafts, perhaps a gift certificate to a craft shop.
Another idea is something she can really use - a pretty basket filled with note cards, or better yet, stationery you make yourself on the computer, along with stamped envelopes.
Something else along those lines would be one of those books that has pockets for each month where you can write in the birthdays, anniversaries, etc of each family member, along with a supply of all purpose cards, a book of stamps, and a pretty pen.
Another clutter-free gift would simply be the gift of your time - to do something with her, or do a household chore that she can no longer do herself. You could make pretty gift certificates on the computer and give to her.

It depends, how close or how well do you know this aunt? How much do you have in your budget to spend on her? After you access those questions than I'd think about what type of stuff she likes (that's assuming you know her well) and go from there.

A nice cardigan, or pair of slippers. Old ladies have dry skin, so perhaps some nice lotion and a matching powder. Perfume or flowers perhaps..... or make up a gift basket of all her favorite food delicacies.

A gift certificate for whatever you know she likes. If you are not sure, maybe a pedicure would be appreciated. Many seniors have sore feet. You may even find someone who will travel to your aunt's place so she doesn't have to go out.
You are a very kind niece.

A weekend boyfriend? lol
Flowers are always nice.
Take her out to lunch.
If she goes, go to church with her (you might be surprised how important that is to a lot of elderly people).

A nice pen! So she can get you signed into her will. Nyuck nyuck nyuck....
But seriously, what I would do is I would find out what she was into when she was about your age, and then try to find it on Ebay or something :)
