ok so lately it seems like my ex-bf has been flirting with me a lot. for example, at prom last weekend he came up to me, hugged me and as he was hugging me he whispered to me, "You look gorgeous!". then later that night he asked me to slow dance. i'm really starting to like him again but the only time i see him is at school. should i ask him to hang out this weekend and see if anything happens between us? or should i just tell him how i feel about him again? is it worth the risk of getting hurt if he doesn't feel the same way? what sould i do?

some extra info--we dated for six months last year and it was a really good relationship but we started drifting apart which is why we broke up

I'd say go for it, sounds like yall deserve a second chance. And it sounds like thats what both of you want

Well it depends on how you two broke things off. If it was very emotional then maybe not. But you should figure out why you two were drifting apart, was it because of school, friends? If it was something minor or short term then I think that it can't hurt to try again, but be careful.

Wait it out a little while longer. Let him tell you if he has any feelings for you. Do not risk getting hurt. If he is flirting with you and likes you, he will let you know when and if he is ready to make that step towards another relationship.

hi, i think the first choice is the better one, to ask him hanging out this weekend....but be aware that you may or may not go back together not to get hurt, do make high hope
good luck, i really wish you get what you want and makes you happy

Well I don't see any harm in hanging out with him and seeing what happens. Usually there's a reason why a couple breaks up, but in your case maybe there's not. Give it a try...

Yeah! Go for it! You only live once chick!
Would you rather know that you've tried and it never worked.. or beat yourself up about it thinking.. 'what if'

Good luck!

Ask yourself, "is there any reason why I shouldn't get back together with him?" If there is one, see if it is rational or not. And if there isn't, my god, go out with him again!
